And contrary to every non or partial custodial parent (typically fathers), these children aren't living with monsters with the court favoring them because they are women.

Over the years, I've heard plenty of complaints from non or partial custodial fathers, but after closely observing this case, I see no evidence of bias from this (female) judge anyway, and I slap my friend around whenever he tries to play the victim card.

Yes, I predict the house will go into foreclosure soon, so I'm not planting asparagus or getting a pet. But from what I've seen from observing in court, the foreclosure process can take years.

But not always, espciallly in this economic time. Having had to do paperwork for foreclosures, especially when it was part of a deal with a court for money issues or was sold off as part of the money owed for support (some states allow for this where everything you own basically is sold to pay off the bill), then it could take anywhere from weeks to years. Just thought you might wanna know so I would start looking at least.

But you support his efforts to continue to be a deadbeat dad. Nice.

Again, he doesn't have a checking account.

So what?

You are aware that there are places that will cash checks even if he doesn't have a checking account, right? And other places that will sell him checks to pay for things? The latter includes the Post Office, as a matter of fact. And every convenience store on the planet.

Tons of people manage to pay their bills without benefit of a checking account.

Somewhere in this drama is a financial fiddle, else he wouldn't need you to pay his bills and thus confuse the amount he reports as income.

All that aside, the older I get, the harder I work to avoid anyone's drama that doesn't belong to me and mine (so closest of family and friends only). For everyone else, I have to say no.

The most I would do for him, is buy him a visa, and put it on there each month. No name of mine would be anywhere near his financial problems. M

That depends on the laws of your state and the vast majority certainly do not take years.   I live in Tennessee and it takes about 90 days if the one who is executing the forclosure wants to just put it straight up to auction.
