McCarthy has always served as a Democrat, she did not change her voter registration from Republican until 2003. She got into politics and gun control after December 7, 1993 when her husband, Dennis, was killed and her son, Kevin, severely injured on a Long Island Rail Road commuter train at the Merillon Avenue station, when spree killer, Colin Ferguson. In her last election 2012, she got 138,561 votes winning her the election.

Plagiarize Wikipedia much?

On December 7, 1993, her husband, Dennis, was killed and her son, Kevin, severely injured on a Long Island Rail Road commuter train at the Merillon Avenue station, when spree killer, Colin Ferguson, opened fire on passengers.[4]

Never claimed it was mine and you are distrubing my lunch I am trying to enjoy a nice T-bone steak.

When something is submitted in written form, it is assumed to be the intellectual property of the writer. To cut and paste or take the writings of another without quoting or attribution is legally, ethically and academically considered plagiarism. A person with "multiple advanced degrees" should know that little factoid. [:D]

A-S-S-U-M-E-D

That is correct, "Assumed" in the legal, ethical and academic sense.

When someone submits a body of writing, it is legally, ethically and academically assumed to be their creation unless they cite the author.

To cut and paste or otherwise post the words of another without attribution is a very good legal, ethical and academic definition of the word 'plagiarism'.

I knew it was plagiarized because the word "Democrat" was spelled properly.[:D]

LOLOL. OK, color me guilty because I grab shit from the internet all the time. I only tend to cite it when I think the supporting information added significant additional value. I pretty much don't cite stuff from wikipedia since that is high on everyone's google search results so whatever I found is likely to be found by anyone else.

I don't see the need to argue over sourceing as this information in no way detracts from the fact that she demonstrated that she doesn't know what she is talking about.

It appears that some people cannot even tell the difference between a word used as an adjective and a verb. Sentence structure is taught in the third grade.
From the online dictionary:

as·sume (-sm)
tr.v. as·sumed, as·sum·ing, as·sumes

6. To take for granted; suppose: assumed that prices would rise.

As a point of interest could you tell us when in recorded history that scenario existed?

It's moot lol. By their view on things the condition subsequent would never occur. If the Constitution and Bill of Rights is destroyed do we still have an American nation or some diseased anti-American nation?

Blacks dispossessed of their land and lynched...yeah that sort of shit has happened a lot here. How did gwb make his millions? Let me see oh yes stealing private property (eminent domain) to make a parking lot for a baseball team he was a minor owner of then selling his appreciated shares.
Who did the "commies disposs of their land???the aristocracy???(Who else owned land in russia ?)pretty much like the founding fathers this land was owned by the crown and crown franchises...failure to pay for those properties both private and public was one of the major causes of the war of 1812.

I have noted in you definition of “gun free zones” you included military bases, immigration centers, American Native and a restaurant (that was in Texas and I have not know that State to be “gun free”). You would also include Amish and Sikhs, since both groups have has mass shooting. This only goes to show your bias in others religious belief. This is your pathetic attempt to prove yourself narrow minded beliefs and all other wrong.

You may also know the NRA at one time favored gun free school zone.

"effectively"? and how is the diaerrha and I don't mean your mouth.

When Libby's shooting took place Ann Richardson was Governer and she had gotten concealed carry outlawed so the resturunt was a gun free zone.

A gun-free zone is an area where ordinary citizens (or ordinary soldiers in the case of military bases) are not permitted to carry a firearm, regardless of whether they have or would need a permit to do so. This includes schools, businesses that do not allow employees to bring guns into the workplace, malls and theaters and other places with a no-gun policy, an army base on home soil per army regulations, or a state where it's simply all but impossible to get a carry permit.

And as for Luby's cafeteria in Texas, concealed carry wasn't legal in Texas in 1991 when that shooting occurred, a fact which I noted in the post and which you would have seen if you had taken the fucking trouble to actually read it.

I would? That's odd, I didn't. I mean, it's nice to have a hobby. But mind-reading? I liked the religious bias bit, though. Now that was funny, and very creative. With a little work, you could learn to pull a rabbit out of a hat.

Luby's was, in fact, a major part of the reason Bush beat Richardson in the following election.
After this the legislature passed a concealed carry law for a vote by the people of Texas.
Richardson, in typical liberal fashion, vetoed the bill on the grounds that she could not "count on the people to vote the right way"

Your continuing commits in an attempt to show “gun free zones” are ineffective are nothing more than ranting. Your replies only concern what you feel would make more of a personal attack then to promote anything meaningful. As you did not comment on the NRA supporting “gun free zones” but that would mean you would have to say something against your narrow minded biased views. I counter your ego by saying so what, being armed does not do anything either. Look at Texas, two armed DA gun down, the Police Chief of a West Virginia County was gun down in his police car and now Mississippi Detective are now dead, killed at the police station, he must have felt safe all those gun he forgot to search the suspect. Gee all in pro gun states, guns everywhere, and they are still dead. A lot of good guns did them, see guns did work; guns don’t scare the criminals away.

YN -> RE: Head of Pro-gun group calls for taking away 2nd Amendment rights (4/5/2013 12:35:35 AM)

Here the "right" thinks only the ruling class should have access to or control weapons, the"left" thinks all classes should be authorized to have these weapons pursuant to some reasonable rules, which apply to all without regard to class who have a legitimate need for them.

Interestingly, here it is the "right" who wants more "gun control." The "left" doesn't have a problem with the appropriate firearms being legally available to those who met the criteria and follow the regulations.

Curious that those roles are reversed in the United States.

Try reading this...if you can't I am sure someone will read it for you....not every place you claim is a "gun free zone"

The Gun-Free School Zones Act (GFSZA, codified at 18 U.S.C. § 922(q)) is a federal United States law that prohibits any individual from knowingly possessing a firearm at a place that the individual knows, or has reasonable cause to believe, is a "school zone" as defined by 18 U.S.C. § 921(a)(25). Its formal title is the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990 and is sometimes referred to as the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1995, possibly in reference to S. 890.
