ORIGINAL: LafayetteLady Wouldn't she be better served talking to a plastic surgeon about this? I suggested it, but, I quote "I can get the same information from the Internet." However, I just got off the phone with her and she has made an appointment for a consultation for friday. I have been "volunteered" to accompany her to the appointment. I would still like input from people on this procedure, if anyone has had any experience. I knew a girl in North Carolina who had the procedure to go from a double k to D cup and scarring was minimal. As a side note, her boyfriend and the father of her twins, left her because she had the reduction. On the internet you can get massive amounts of information, but that should never replace talking to an actual doctor. As for the scarring, the surgeon should be able to show pictures of his work, and a good plastic surgeon will leave her with minimal scarring. Sadly, too many people don't shop around for a plastic surgeon, or any doctor for that matter, the way they should. Yes, they are professionals, but they are still being paid, ultimately, by the patient, so the patient has the right to be comfortable with them. As for the girl in North Carolina....she probably didn't make a good choice of guys to father her child, huh?
