Status: offline 		That has been a little fuzzy all afternoon ,hasn't it ?
The early reports I heard stated that the younger brother drove over his dead body in making his escape.
Than CNN reported the older brother died in the hospital,and I thought "shit,that was cold,driving over your still living brother to make your escape"
Than further reports stated the younger brother fled the scene of the shoot out on foot.....so I thought"well how the fuck did he drive over his brother than ? Maybe he ran over him,on foot,in making his escape ?"
The fog of war had nothing on the streets of Boston and Watertown last night and today......give it a day or two and things will start to clear up.

I cant say I have ever read of the IRA using car bombs before the early 70s. Some plans had been made to use them on mainland targets in Britain but there was a truce before they were implemented.

His brother was a bullet sponge. #2 was taken to Mt. Auburn Hospital which is not a trauma facility. Had he required more serious medical care, he would have been taken elsewhere.

Come now Aswad,the photo was out there....twirling around in the cyber world,most of us were going to see it from one site or another sooner or later.
No need to chastise Owner over posting it....but I did hear that it was a LEO who took the photo and put it out there into the cyber world...there just might be some disciplinary action coming his way for having done so....if they can ascertain just which officer was/is responsible.

Hmmm...Polite I think you might be right
I think I got some facts that float around in my head convoluted ,lol.
I read somewhere that the IRA was the first organization to use the car bomb as a terrorist tool.....and might have mistakenly ascribed such an event to Collins
My bad,everything else said about Collins stands though...but I would like to point out that none of it was meant to denigrate Collins,being Irish and seeing the righteousness of his cause,I have no wish too.....heck,Collins was involved in a declared war....brought an Empire to the bargaining table,went to that table and in good faith reached a truce agreement with said empire and in doing so knowingly signed his own death warrant .Churchill himself,who sat across that table representing the Empire, grew to admire and like Collins).

Facebook is that wierd place where my drawing gets taken down because two lines are suggestive of a breast, but this stuff is perfectly fine for the kids. I won't delve into the perversity of such mores here, but rather just point out that there is a substantial difference between sex and gore for a lot of people, and that what they signed up for here is the former of the two. I've no problem with the picture, but I don't think it's appropriate to post inline.

Status: offline 		I'm confused about the FBI's decision NOT to give this guy his Miranda warning,citing the public safety exception to that requirement.
He's in custody...isn't the public safety part satisfied....unless they restrict the questions they ask him to those associated with any possible IED's still out there....otherwise they are making a mistake
