I'm more of a B/D person but my last domme I referred to her as Piglet. Because:

A. Piglets are cute [She is cute]
B. Piglets are noisy. [She is noisy. I mean she can't walk across a room in boots without sounding like a head of buffalo. Clump Clump.]
C. Piglets squeal when you pick them up. [She squeals when I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder]

Of the dommes I've thrown over my shoulder I collectively refer to them as my shoulder kittens.

In general I tend to refer to dommes as tasty wenches, much to many of their chagrin. It's a great way to break the ice and see if they have a sense of humor because they need to have one.

You are an evil calculating collector of nudie pics and panties, it is one of the things i like about you......

Can I just get through one damn day without someone calling me out? How in the hell am I supposed to snag some unsuspecting little slave girl when it is public knowledge that I AM EVIL?

Not to hijack the thread, but the story of "long one" comes from her long clit, the longest one I have ever seen.  Not as "long" of a story as she made it out to be.

All of the above.  In a past relationship I could always tell when my master was getting annoyed but trying to control himself when he called me "sweetie."

Samwhiplash -> RE: Terms of Endearment (6/26/2006 10:22:52 AM)

I adore being addressed as honey, or baby etc...... and will address my partner (sub & boyf) similiarly at non-scene times.

To me it means that while my sub will address me correctly at times of play, he also sees me with affection for the woman I am, and not just the Mistress.

ExistentialSteel -> RE: Terms of Endearment (6/26/2006 11:19:40 AM)

Sure I use terms of endearment and I mean it. It is part of the balance of whipping her and using her ad nausea. She needs both and so do I.

When in the public, I always refer to Master as Sir. In private, always as Master. The only time this changes is when he instructs me to do otherwise. There have been very few instances in which I have used his first name, and then only when he has asked it of me.

RavenMuse -> RE: Terms of Endearment (6/26/2006 1:13:13 PM)

I predominantly use terms of endearment with virtualy everyone around me.... a habit formed not because of D/s but from having a bloody terrible memory for names. "Hi petal" tends to be more acceptable than "Hi.. erm.. what was your name again"

Petal, Sweetie and 'young lady' on the female side Mate, sunshine and 'young man' on the male.

you could call her bank account---You make a "deposit"  then a "withdrawal"
ATM--for the above reasons

SmokeyM -> RE: Terms of Endearment (7/5/2006 4:19:48 PM)

As a normal I use "darlin and honey" only those close to me I call "babe, baby, sweetheart". I have been called a lot of things as well, some I let them get away with it.. others they never use again.

For Me, I stick with the latter.. if ever I would say honey or baby, you can bet its because I had a vanilla backflash.. a.k.a brainfart.

When you are in a D/s relationship, regardless of the role you play, do you find yourself using terms of endearment like honey, baby, darling etc., or do you stick primarily to the Sir/Master, pet/slave names?

My Master's pet names for me:
Mine
babe
brat
my whore
my bitch
my little slut

Pet names for my Master:
my Master
babe
baby
God(since I seem to cry out oh please God often)

We often call each other pet names although I must admit I do grin and blush when he simply calls me Mine and I typically call him my Master.

akbarbarian -> RE: Terms of Endearment (12/24/2006 6:48:37 PM)

I forbade my ex from every saying my name outloud.  I also expected her to adress me in the typical manner, as Sir or Master.  Much to my surprise, she obeyed in not saying my name but almost never called me Sir or Master unless I was forcing it out of her.  She responded to "Don't" better than to "Do this" type commands.  I never figured out why.

For the first year when referring to me to anyone, she used the pronouns "he" or "him" and took great pains to never say my name which was mildly amusing to listen to.
As our D/s relationship faded after we were married, she started calling me Honey and so on which I never really liked.

usually.... its " HEY !!!"

*laughs*

any other time.. I'll call her "girl" or slave, slut, whore, beth.... whatever comes to mind at that particular moment.

T.R.

I'm thinking that it's probably a good idea though to not call "beth" "lorie" "or whatever comes to mind" at inopportune moments.

julietsierra -> RE: Terms of Endearment (12/25/2006 1:28:29 AM)

I am very DEFINITELY not saying this is true, but in reading this thread, what kept coming to mind was a couple of lines from the movie "John Tucker Must Die."

"Let me guess, he calls you 'honey' and 'baby' all the time - IT'S BECAUSE HE CAN'T REMEMBER YOUR NAME!!!"

I call my Master "Sir," which, to me, is an endearment all its own. When I've had to use his given name, it's felt very strange to do so. I actually had to practice saying it when I introduced him to my parents. (For some reason, I felt that "Sir" wouldn't do.) He saved me from this by introducing himself though. (I was grateful)

For a long long long time, he never used my name. I don't recall what he WOULD call me, strange as that may seem. All I remember is feeling shocked and surprised to hear my name from his lips one day. That's the day I knew he actually LIKED me.

Every now and then, he uses the term "baby" with me - very rarely though. Generally speaking, when he does use endearments - which is not often - he calls me "my dear" or "my dearest."

And when he's joking around, he says "yes dear" but that's because he's teasing me, saying I'm crazy (it's a menopause thing).

Daddy has many pet names for me i.e. babygirl, daughter, honey, or princess. i in turn call him Daddy or by his real name when permitted

however at the height of the sexual moment, he calls me bitch, slut, whore, etc and i reply with Master or Sir
