ORIGINAL: fmfclwu The problem Mitt Romney, and the Republican party at the national level, had, was that Americans don't want their policies. Yes, but you're not looking at the problem exactly correctly. OK, imagine you are a corrupt, wealthy guy wanting more power and more wealth. So you wave the flag, trot out a few threats, whip up a good sense of hysteria, right? I mean that's the obvious solution. That oughta get everyone all riled up and in line. But for some reason that doesn't happen. Oh sure, the people get all riled but the go for the OTHER guy. So you need to find out what you did wrong. The problem cannot be in your policy because your policy is to make yourself richer which is self-evidently a good thing. So obviously it's gotta be something in the delivery. If you could only, for instance, approach this gay thing properly surely you could get the voters to stop looking at issues like ever-encroaching poverty. No, from their standpoint the problem is definitely one of delivery.
