Greetings

Ok you can usually not tell what side of the RACK vs SSC someone who is playing belong to, but the way I see it the point here is philosophy. With SSC then safety is an issue no matter how consensual things are an in theory risky activities are frowned upon and we get endless debates over how risky something is. With RACK the point is that if you are aware of the risks, and accept them then as long as everyone involved is consensual then risk is okey. Let us take rough anal sex for example. I love to be used anally until I bleed. I mean I have had few bigger turn ons than when Aswad wiped some blood from my anal opening after some anal fisting training, and I would like him to go even further and just force his hand in, yeah I know I would probably regret it while it is happening but still, it is a desire I have and he have and within RACK that is okey for we both know the risks and accept them, and as such it is risk aware, consensual kink, however since there are some danger involved many would say it is not SSC. For me RACK is much more how I feel about things. I think it is okey to take risks as long as everyone involved know what they are getting themselves into and do so of their own free will.

I wish you all well

Personally if I'm with someone and I have to tell them to be safe, sane and consensual then I'm with probably one of the most stupid people I've ever been with in my life. But that's me. I never dated men who were not adults and didn't act like it.

Hello.
This feels like a commonly reoccurring topic for discussion. SSC vs RACK.
At first glance SSC would seem to exclude any form of edge play such as breath play, needle play and knife play to name a few major players.
Then again SSC is never a protection from stupidity and ignorance. Shibari is pretty safe as long as you know what you're doing, especially if you keep it light. A n0ob wannabe can do serious damage...
Whipping and flogging can be considered safe in most cases but I've seen heavy strokes across kidneys, spine and so on. Again, if you don't know what you're doing bad things can happen.
I could go on but imho SSC vs RACK isn't nearly as important as actually knowing what you're doing and having a healthy dose of common sense.

Well I do think in many ways these catch phrases are more there for the vanilla folks looking in who need to see consensual, consensual, consensual repeated again and again and again to perhaps that believing that we do not kidnap one another and rape everything that come withing raping distance.

I wish you well
