Are you just shy or afraid of what you will see at a munch? I tend to be a bit shy myself and like having at least one person with me that I know. I now know enough people that if I wanted to go to a munch I could on my own without feeling like I was the new girl in the class. :) The people at the munches I have been to were just normal people who are into kink. The ones I have gotten to know in a local group and around my town ( an wow for such a small town there are a lot of kinky people here. 1,200 people) are just people. The ones in my town that I see when I am out and about we stop and talk for a minute when we see each other and no one has ever screamed she is on fetlife which is a kinky web site.

I have pictures up on fet life but set to only friends can see them. That may be an option for you regarding pictures.

Yep.

Have you looked at it from the other direction? Rather than thinking you don't want ANYONE to find out you're up X, Y, or D, think about exactly who you don't want clued in.

1/ Mom
2/Dad
3/Little Jimmy
4/ your cousins
And maybe a few more.

After thinking it through in this direction, it might seem a much easier thing to keep control of. There really are very few people you need worry about. I mean, with most folks, big fat hairy deal what they think of you.

Ive thought about that. Ive put myself in a prettyunrealistic place with most people. Im not perfect but I try to act it almost all day. I dont want my familyto know, nor my coworkers. BUT I guess if I do loose some friends over it, or even some commitments, it might not be the end of the world.

That is what I do. I do not want my mom knowing at all so when I do go to a munch I am going to dinner with whoever I am riding with or if my husband actually goes we are going out.

But believe it or not, most people do not care what you do as long as it does not affect them. Really it is family you have to watch out for the most.
