ORIGINAL: BamaD That may be what you mean but it isn't what you say Don't presume to know what I'm thinking. Even if you knew it, you couldn't comprehend it. Reread my post I was not presuming to know what you think. And thank you for displaying the renown civility of liberals When was the last time you saw a liberal call Obama "The most ineffective president in generations" as I have done repeatedly? so much for that fucking theory. Maybe because we have had a lot of ineffective presidents......George Bush I didn't exactly set the world on Fire, and Bush II left us with two wars, doubled the national debt, and the economy in ruins that we still haven't recovered from...he gave us huge cuts in taxes in the middle of two expensive wars and I can't think of a lasting legacy he left. Yeah, I have heard about national security, but the things Bush II did after 9/11 almost any president would do...and I wonder if any other president would have an Attorney General who was concerned about covering the naughty bits on statues around the justice department more then imminent terrorist attacks (John Ashcroft). I don't think he was the most inneffective president in generations, I think he was saddled with a GOP whose only thoughts were not getting the country down to business, but getting Obama out of office as soon as possible, and it backfired on them, because while a lot of people may not be thrilled with Obama, they are scared of the GOP redneck party getting back in power. Put it this way, Obama's popularity may not be great, but the GOP's overall popularity is around 11% think they are doing a good job......
