tazzygirl -> Republicans who can save the party in 2016 (6/24/2013 3:34:03 PM)

No lie, thats the name of the piece.

1 - Chris Christie
2 - Condoleezza Rice
3 - Marco Rubio
4 - Paul Ryan
5 - Susana Martinez
6 - Kelly Ayotte
7 - Rand Paul
8 - Rob Portman
9 - Nikki Haley
10 - Scott Walker
11 - Bobby Jindal
12 - Donald Trump
13 - Mike Pence
14 - Jeb Bush
15 - Michelle Bachmann

A couple made me laugh... A few made me go "hmmm"

What do you think of this list?

Louve00 -> RE: Republicans who can save the party in 2016 (6/24/2013 3:49:54 PM)

It must be a joke LOL. Seriously though, Michelle Bachman?? Donald Trump???

IMO they thru themselves under the bus when Congress decided to do anything, even if it steered towards ruining this country, just to make one man a one term president. And they couldn't do it, to beat it all!!

Epic failure. (but in considering any part of the list, Christy and Jeb, I'd vote for...depending on who is running on the other side) [sm=smile.gif]

DomKen -> RE: Republicans who can save the party in 2016 (6/24/2013 4:09:09 PM)

Chris Christie might have a shot at winning the Presidency in 2016 against HRC.

However he would have to win the GOP primaries and that ain't happening.

MrRodgers -> RE: Republicans who can save the party in 2016 (6/24/2013 5:02:45 PM)

If that is serious then it is Hillary or Mark Warner for pres. and will be elected in 2016.

Thanx repubs for living in your crazy, partisan dreamland. Stay there please.

After all, the great greedy, capitalist hope...Romney couldn't get more than 47% with all of tho$e million$ of free speech in the bank and he had to practically buy tho$e. And a man whose rambling crazy head as likely would endorse a plan to fix US unemployment by giving free (taxpayer-funded) passage to China. He may have been the last best hope which is itself not a very good sign at all.

(I mean why not ? The capitalist sent our jobs there, so why not just send Americans there too ? I mean, aren't Americans just as willing to build Buicks at 30 cents/hr ?)

Hillwilliam -> RE: Republicans who can save the party in 2016 (6/24/2013 5:33:23 PM)

I see Christie or Jeb with a chance to win and the brains to do something about it afterwards.

The problem is that Jeb has the wrong last name and Christie won't ever get the nomination because the TEAbaggers will be screaming "He touched a Democrat, he has cooties".

The rest are useless or worse.

Lucylastic -> RE: Republicans who can save the party in 2016 (6/24/2013 5:36:57 PM)

As you will notice... I didnt chime in on the list. As far as I know, it wasnt a joke list either.

I agree about Christie... he wont get the nod.

Kelly Ayotte... maybe

Susana Martinez... too new to the party... and not bold enough in her positions

Rob Portman... supports same sex marriage...cant see that going over well

Mike Pence... bad position on Katrina.... might make the coastal states skittish

The rest... seriously???

I think this list is inadequate.

Something is about to burst.

tazzygirl -> RE: Republicans who can save the party in 2016 (6/24/2013 5:56:35 PM)

Getting a feeling the "real" list wont be made known until after the next elections.

I also get a feeling that someone just may flip after the 2014 elections.

Lucylastic -> RE: Republicans who can save the party in 2016 (6/24/2013 6:02:35 PM)

heh i had pretty much the same feelings, altho I dunno about Kelly shes a strange one too.
Christie is too moderate as they stand now

That isn't how you spell "shit".

I mean seriously, is that the best they can hope for? The couple of names there who don't make Sarah Palin look like Susan Sontag by comparison probably have less chance of getting a nomination from the Republican party convention than I do, FFS...

lol I could have understood either answer Hill....
after alll I was joking with that response, simply because my feeling about the GOP as it stands right now is that low.

Page 1 had me saying "Dafuq?" when they called Palin 'intelligent'.

Intelligent compared to what? A fucking flatworm?

Biden, but that is pretty much the same thing.

Biden is Obama's life insurance policy. No more or less. Noone would dare assassinate Obama knowing Biden was next in line and then you have Pelosi.

Kinda like Quayle was.
