Males are not a significant factor as regards overpopulation. Fertile females are, since they are to blame for any overpopulation.

It was a classic literary allusion, supergenius.

Of course it is.
Testimony is evidence.
His interview with police was just ADMITTED into evidence and includes his description of events.

Just say no.

But no-one says that anyone has to believe any of it -- absent cooberating evidence, of course. And there's nothing to support that whole "Martin was smashing my head against the concrete" thing, which is why it keeps getting objected to -- and sustained -- everytime O'Mara is sloppy and tries to refer to it.

I think the whole "That's not my voice" thing is really what has done him in. There's Zimmerman impeaching himself. Add to that the fact that Zimmerman was training at a Mixed Martial Arts gym -- he went looking for and followed Trayvon Martin... Game over, man... Game over...

Remember that time Zimmerman told the cop that his memory isn't good? Is that because of the drugs Zimmerman is on, or just that he's not all that good at remembering things. That's relevant.

Memory is subject to change. It is therefore best to rely on the earliest versions of an event.

Oh? To what book title?

Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol

From Stave 3:

"Spirit," said Scrooge, with an interest he had never felt before,"tell me if Tiny Tim will live."

"I see a vacant seat," replied the Ghost, "in the poor chimney-corner, and a crutch without an owner, carefully preserved. If these shadows remain unaltered by the Future, the child will die."

"No, no," said Scrooge. "Oh, no, kind Spirit. Say he will be spared."

"If these shadows remain unaltered by the Future, none other of my race," returned the Ghost, "will find him here. What then? If he be like to die, he had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."

Scrooge hung his head to hear his own words quoted by the Spirit, and was overcome with penitence and grief.

"Man," said the Ghost, "if man you be in heart, not adamant, forbear that wicked cant until you have discovered What the surplus is, and Where it is. Will you decide what men shall live, what men shall die? It may be, that in the sight of Heaven, you are more worthless and less fit to live than millions like this poor man's child. Oh God! To hear the Insect on the leaf pronouncing on the too much life among his hungry brothers in the dust."

Ok, so we're going with "Zimmerman says the voice screaming isn't his".

"You hear that voice in the background? That's you. You hear yourself?" asked Serino.

"That doesn't even sound like me," said Zimmerman.

And when someone bounces your head off the pavement you don't ask for credentials.

A: yes it does, if you'd bother to look it up, you'd know.

B: My comment was to counter the ignorant fucks who were shrieking OMG, he was a FOOTBALL PLAYERRRRRRRR

I have no idea what noises were produced, though I once listened to the recording: I could not determine who made what noise.

One witness said that she thought that the last call was not a call for help, but a yelp. I speculate that a bullet smashing the air out of Martin's lungs may have caused that yelp. I do not think that Martin was aware that he had been shot.

For tackle football, Pop Warner stops at age 14 - 15.

They would not have let Martin play at age 17, 6' and 160 pounds.

However, *these folks would have*.

Who said he was still playing at 17?

Ty for making my point to all the people who were talking about the scary football player.

He was too fucking scrawny for HS ball.

well thats not absolute, I once slide off the trunk of a car going arox 20 miles an house, landed feet first with my back to the direction of travel, flipped and landed on my head and shoulders then flipped agian and came to a stop, no condusion, no fracture and no stitches...

maybe I was lucky, maybe I have a had head, but the point is the injuries you DEMAND he must have becuse of this is just not factual!

Take someone's head and "pile drive" it into the concrete over and over again.

Get back to me with the medical reports. [;)]

quote:

once I had a guy tackle me drove his shoulder into my stomach, wraped his arms around my knees and lifted me and pile dorve me down backwards on a solidly frozen field, rendered me unconsious for a few seconds with out even a scratch on me head

One hit, medically, you should have went. You had a concussion.

quote:

once I was hit about the head with a nightstick three solid blows the third made me see stars not a scratch

Nightstick has a certain amount of give, concrete doesnt.

I hope to see that medical report in my mail soon. [:D]

What was Zimmerman thinking, holstering his weapon while Trayvon Martin was still alive and -- in his narrative -- a potential threat?

How about that he didn't want Martin to die.

Well, George Zimmerman had a whole lot of decision points where he made a choice which lead to him killing Trayvon Martin, so I'm not seeing how that works him not wanting Trayvon Martin to die after killing him.

Remember, It's Trayvon who stops screaming when the gunshot happens. That's because he's instantly dead.

"You hear that voice in the background? That's you. You hear yourself?" asked Serino.

"That doesn't even sound like me," said Zimmerman.

Todays witness FBI sound expert who said there is no way for anyone to tell.
If you are driving to fast does that mean you want the person who steps in front of you to die?
Of course not, so much for your "logic".

Ever listen to your own voice recorded?

It doesn't sound like you at all.

Nobody says anyone has to believe anything. For example I find it hard to believe you are serious.

Quite.

I did not recognize my own recorded voice when I listened to it back in the seventies.

What does "cooberating" mean?

Rule -> RE: Zimmerman Trial - LIVE (7/1/2013 6:52:01 PM)

It is what pigeons do when they coo-coo.

truckinslave -> RE: Zimmerman Trial - LIVE (7/1/2013 6:52:56 PM)

The point is that even Serino thought it was Zimmerman's voice

Thanks Tazz for reminding me that T had what's called in boxing, the reach advantage.

On a separate note, when an altercation continues beyond a knockdown, unlike a competitive bout, then it's no longer about enforcing your position. In street fights, when the upper aggressor continues pummeling, while the lower recipient is down and disadvantaged, it has becomes about mauling your adversary. Kicking them when they're down. Grievous bodily harm. Qualifying them for a handicapped parking sticker for life, if they're lucky.

Z had a scratch to his nose and a bloody nose. A smart street fighter would have kicked if he had knocked his opponent to the ground, dont ya think? Thats always been my experience when watching my brothers fight dirty. The photo showing the swelling was photoshopped.

3 witnesses had Z on top... just sayin

which three witness were those?

I must have missed that.

I think ya DID!

maybe I am mistaken, but it sure looks like that link was posted by you in response to my question "which three witness were those? "

its certianly possible you were responding to a differant post by me I suppose, not sure what one that would be though...

I also remember you getting upset in another thread with me saying something that you felt put your intelligence in question, guess its OK for you to do it to ME though eh?
