Zimmer stated he pushed Martin off after he shot him and hearing him still alive straddled him and pinned his arms crying to a neighbor for help. Zimmer learned Martin was dead when he was being interviewed at around 8 pm in the police station.

I just read an unbiased article, and I truly have been trying to keep an open mind. CNN published this, and it really has me questioning my preconceptions:

Fortunately MSNBC's Reverend Al Sharpton of Tawana Brawley fame was able to expose the racist conspiracy between the Sanford police and George Zimmerman thereby preventing Zimmerman from escaping the social justice due for the millions of Trayvon Martins brutally assassinated every year by WHITE hispanics like George Zimmerman.

I OBJECT. Assumes facts NOT IN EVIDENCE. ( Check the evidence admitted IN THE TRIAL. That assertion of Zimmerman's has never been MADE AT TRIAL. And every time Mark O'Mara tried to suggest it, BLDR had the Judge slap him down, eventually leading to a conference about how O'Mara needed to establish a whole lot of groundwork before asking a question predicated on that. O'Mare then had nothing much to ask and they excused the witness.

So, why doesn't everyone stop making an assertion which isn't relevant to the trial.

Yes as Martin jumped on top of him. It would seem to Zimmerman that Martin was driving his head into the ground. I have stated repeatedly (in other threads) that I see this as a great tragedy, not a crime.

Forensics has yet to testify, correct?

I think many are assuming his injuries means someone repeatedly drove Z's head into the concrete. That's not the injury I see. A fractured skull, a concussion.... those would say that had happened, not two small lacerations and a few bumps.
