As am I, tazzy, but because we disagree with Sir Domly Dom our input is ignored. Makes me wonder if he will ignore the input of any slave who consents to submit to him.

I dont think that is a mystery. His is the manly-dom-romance definition of a slave. "Shut up and do as told."

I keep waiting to see some of these guys realize... A happy slave makes a happy relationship.

Correct. As a slave, I gave my consent once, to be his slave. Of course, before doing so I made sure his hard limits were pretty much the same as mine [;)] My choices now are do as I'm told or leave the dynamic. For example, I'm not a masochist. I don't really enjoy spankings, but if he wants to spank me he need only tell me to drop my drawers and bend over. He isn't much of a sadist, so it won't really go past a crop or his bare hand and I won't end up with more than a red backside (he's not a fan of bruises).


Submissives don't really give up their right to say no. At least not on a permanent basis.

Greed, desire, desperation, insecurity, love, grace, companionship, compatibility, power, influence.. those are just off the top of my head.

Slave and pet are just degrees to some folks. An initial label is usually only good as a starting point for further communication. It's still people that have to match up.. not their labels.

We differ on our definitions of slave, obviously.

Sir domly-dom (deliberate use of lower case here) is based in Thailand.
Like many islamic places (althought most are Buddhists in Thailand), it's home to the most chauvenistic and mysogenistic men of the world.

It's one of those places in the world where most women are treated worse than dogs and goats.
That may explain why his attitude to a "slave" is so grossly faerie-tale and archaic to liberated westerners that he has no way of comprehending anything much of what we are trying to say to him.
