Mom, in the short time I spent with her, taught me that I mattered. She taught me being truthful is usually a more effective tool in life, but a little white lie, now and then won't sink a ship. My mom taught me by her actions that fearing the loss of a parent's praise and seeing in their eyes, hurt and disappointment goes a lot further than the fear of the rod. Doesn't mean I was an innocent, but I sure tried not to being discovered as often as possible. [;)] But mostly, I did do right by mom. Rosa

ahh what she taught me..well um she taught me to be a good girl..which kind of failed.. she taught me to love God..I don't really believe in god but more in the spirit... she taught me to be honest..n that still works [:D] she taught me to be straight n live vanilla..GOSH if she only knew..it would take her to the grave..ehm and well she's kind of invented a new phrase.. Amen to that, LaTigresse!!!! altho, as an adult, if i couldn't decide what to do about something or had a problem i couldn't solve & i asked her for advice & followed it, she was always right....

Well in more recient years my mother has been saying "Your free white and over 21 enjoy your life, it's yours to screw up now" And in years past my Italian mother said to me " I'm going beat you like a red headed step child" think about a redhead in a italian family ... OUCH

My Grand mother told me that : You will caught a man by his stomac and keep Him by his dick. I' m pretty sure it lost a bit of it's taste translated into english but like this it s easy to understand
