So I got to thinking why it turns out that the Dominant close to me whom I'm not particularly interested in meeting is the same Dominant some poor slave would like to meet but lives on the other side of the world and vice versa!  Why is that?  Seems kind of strange don't you think?

On an all new Swap Meet........2 subs switch places to be with the Doms of their dreams! Watch them as they take over each others lives and homes!

I live in Bartlesville, OK.  It is a little known town.  I didn't know about it til I lived in OK for about 5 years.  It is the home of Phillips Petroleum/Conoco (our gas is about .02 cheaper than everyone elses).  We have a MOZART Festival every year, All kinds of artsy things happen here but most of the outside world hears Oklahoma and they immediately shut down as if all we have are cows, horses, and tumbleweeds.  The cost of living is amazingly low,but the potential to make money is amazingly high.  The town I live in is growing by leaps and bounds.  When I moved here 7 years ago the population was 25,000 and now it is over 40,000.  We house a Major University, we are still small enough to be called a small town but only 45 miles from Tulsa if you want Big City Excitement.

My reasons for stating the above is to say don't close your eyes to your pre-conceived idea of what something is.  Open your eyes to the possibilities of things..  Just because something is portrayed to be one thing doesn't mean that is all there is to it.  I am sure the slave(s) I seek are close by but it is so DAMN difficult to get them to wear the SLAVE EMBLEM on their shirts so that I can identify them (LOL) so I continue to use all my resouces to search for a slave including the internet and pray that he/she/they will become apparent to me.

What I've always found odd was this...

The regular vanilla folks that grew up, met, married, and stay all within a 20 mi radius of their hometown. (give or take)

Who's to say the perfect match isn't half a world away for everyone ?

well wishes,
T.R.

I had a little epiphany tonight.  I was thinking about how all the profiles that approach what I'm hoping to find in a partner are always from people in faraway locations.  Then it struck me...it seems the general consensus for most Dominants and sub/slaves alike is that the people they'd like to meet are also in faraway locations.  So I got to thinking why it turns out that the Dominant close to me whom I'm not particularly interested in meeting is the same Dominant some poor slave would like to meet but lives on the other side of the world and vice versa!  Why is that?  Seems kind of strange don't you think?

I think its called Murpheys Law....LOL
I personally have been very lucky here and met in person something like 10 people from here. Some were for coffee, some dinner, some W/we did a session right off.
Some came back, and still do, some didnt...in either case it was good to meet those that I have.
I am really surprised how many people in Maine there are...go figure.
Must be all the woods We have to play in.

Aww...man!  I have been here too long.  I started reading this thread
thinking it said "Lactation Issue" and was about all about breast
milk again!

LMAO Venduval.
(in response to the thread, not to any one person)
To someone who said SF was very easy to find someone. I would agree, so much easier, however, I now live in BFE and most of these people are very straight laced, even when they don't look so straight laced on the surface. It's just awful!
I also don't see hours of nasscar conversation as entertainment, especially when that's followed up with watching..nascar.
I'm here for my own reasons, with no plans on moving. I think when someone moves for you, there is such a can of worms that could be opened if the relationship doesn't work out. A new relationship has enough going on with it, without complicating it with a move that may or may not work out.
I've seen enough online relationships start with one saying, "Oh, I can move." Many of those are just looking for permanent cyber partners. With others, 6 months down the road, the other finds out that the person is actually married and has no intent on moving, or giving up their wife. The wife was told his weekend get aways were with the 'boys'.
I know one person gave up her house, move from one side of the country to the other, everything was great for a month. Some misunderstanding occured and she was driven to the bus stop with enough money just for the bus fair to get back. That's it, no place to go back to, no explaination, nothing. There was no bus there, he left and she was left at night waiting for a bus to show up. Nobody and I mean nobody who knew this guy would have ever thought he would do something like this.
I've seen good ones happen as well, many of them. It's just like looking at a scales though, pyramid on one side, couple of grains of sand on the other.
I think ending any relationship is hard enough, without sending the person out the door to places unknown. If they're already local, at least they have a short distance to find comfort in friends and family and the job they've had for upteen years. Only a portion of their lives has been uprooted, not all of it.
