Depends a lot on the holster. I carry mine the same way, and it's not as easy as you'd think to do that.

(2) Are certain posters still arguing that this whole trial is distressing to white people, and that blacks playing the "race card" offends their sensibilities.

Here is what I have learned about myself. I am a give my ground kind of person. My first move is to de-escalate conflict by apologizing, backing off, or doing whatever is necessary not to incite violence. This code has worked very well for me.

How many times does it have to be pointed out to you that he was off duty that night so NW rules don't apply.
How many times do you have to be reminded that the dispatcher said he didn't need to follow,  a far cry from don't follow.
The fact that the suspicious person, never referenced as a robber, burglar, or anything but suspicious, may have been armed is a good reason to be carrying.

The swelling went down substantially between the crime scene and the police station. He hadn't had time to visit his wife yet.
