Black Mirror seems to be trying to shape-up but too many plot points are taken from previous shows/films. It'll get there, though.

For honesty and frippery in comedy, I have to add Mock The Week. I mean you will see jokes there you'll never hear elsewhere, and it balances the erudite bon mot with the pub-esque satire.
