And the point she made about doing the same with any President still seems to have been overlooked. There is NOTHING in her interview stating she is only complaining due to Obamas colour.

Well, Hill, it being a "hate crime" isn't immediately about race, but in this case, that is the only option. A hate crime is a crime committed based on a bias, including race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.

I still dont see this particular incident as a hate crime.

I am guessing you didnt read her interview or you would have grasped what she said ( or not [8\|] ) "which permits federal prosecution of anyone who "willingly injures, intimidates or interferes with another person, or attempts to do so, by force because of the other person's race, color, religion or national origin" << Updated since to include disability and sexuality.
