INTP (only based on my prior results from the link to prior threads).
I suspect it would be close if not the same if I were to take it again.

Really, I view the MBTI similar to how I view horoscopes. They're entertaining and they usually fit but so do many of the generic descriptions.

Horoscopes are silly but I don't think the MBTI is. I've read all 16 type descriptions (elsewhere) and none of the others even remotely describe me or people whose types I know. The only times I have seen a couple of types fit for one person are when someone is close to an "even split" on one or more of the characteristics after doing the test.

It's interesting to note that a "submissive personality" is one of the listed traits of an INFP. (I don't think they meant that sexually, but still.) My impression is that NPs, particularly INPs are not good at leading others. They have a real problem with being bossy or imposing their beliefs on other people.

On the other hand, ENJs, perhaps more broadly EJs are good at it. That's neither here nor there, it's just interesting. From time to time we have a thread discussing what makes a person sexually dominant or submissive. The consensus seems to be that "kinksters are absolutely no different from vanillas, except for kink". I suspect that that's not true. While nurture (and other factors) must play a role, I suspect personality is the leading factor. Some people are just natural leaders and others followers.

I suspect anyone studying the issue would find a correlation between kinky orientation and Myers Brigg Type

INFJ. I'm a submissive.
I can lead, and I do a good job of it, but I prefer to have my man be the leader in a romantic relationship. I'm also one who says they can live without kink if I find a man who isn't. I'm not deeply unhappy being an equal or leading in a relationship, I just am more at peace with a romantic partner if I'm not the leader.

INFP.

And I'm a top. WELP. (I'm in your thread, screwing with your data.) I think being an innately intuitive, introspective, empathic person helps me feel out the best ways to fuck with someone's head. My empathy allows me to really, truly feel your pain and suffering, and my natural proclivity to healing means, as a healer, I know precisely how to undo that work. As a natural creative, I'm full of ideas and dying to explore someone's reactions.

Come on, that's wasted on submission. My personality type is designed to unlock someone's potential. Though I can easily see how the traits lead to a naturally submissive bent, I can also see how it feeds my own kinks. So yeah, I'm just going to hang out here and skew the data.

I came up as ENFJ. There are a few things I read about this that were spot on, especially about seeing underlying motives/reasons for peoples behaviors.

Meh. Could be my personality. Seriously. I found the following article and laughed:

I usually test as INTJ (sub/slave), but it's only a partial fit. I suppose I could be an INFJ or INTP deep down but express it differently? Or maybe there are additional characteristics not captured by a 4-variable test that make it less than fully accurate.

Then again, wondering how accurate a 4-variable test can be when humans differ on more than 4 scales seems to be something an INTJ personality would do...

I'm an INTJ so I can say this, with sincerity, that the dumbest people on the planet are those who are strongest at xNxJ.

You know why?

The "N" means they intuitively know the answer, without even taking the time and effort to sense the data - and the J means they expect others to act the way the xNxJ thinks they should.

On the other hand, the strongly xNxJ gets the most work done. You wanna know why?

The "N" doesn't waste time figuring out what to do - they KNOW what to do instinctively. And, the "J" means they don't waste time on other people's ideas. It's got to be run the way THEY want it to run. That's the whole point of a strong "J" in the first place.

Of course, the STRENGTH of the I and the J are what makes one xNxJ different from another xNxJ. So, for example, Hitler was clearly very strongly N and very strongly J, and that's what made him dangerous. Of course, you might be weakly N and weakly J (or whatever), so, the STRENGTH is what makes the strongly xNxJ so dangerous.

They know exactly what to do; and they expect everyone else to do it.

Note that the other two traits don't matter so much for this particular "danger" argument, since they are simply how one prefers to energize and how one prefers to act upon the data to make decisions.

Mark my words, anyone STRONGLY N and STRONGLY J is a dangerous person indeed!
(That's why I prefer the STRONGLY xTxPs, who, take in all the data before making a decision, and who don't really care what other people do with their lives.) The STRONGLY xTxPs are so easy to get along with - and so likeable - but - they do take a long time to make decisions - but - in the end, their decisions are worlds' better than anything any STRONG xNxJ could ever come up with.

ISTP. Dominant

Introversion.... I am extreme on this spectrum .... Because of my extreme introverted nature many people in social groups have a very wrong perception of my personality. It only in small close groups that people see my personality

Sensing. ... On this scale... I am just slight on the sensing scale and can just as easily slip to to the intuition side of things.

Thinking... Moderately on this side of the scale

Perceiving ... Moderate on this side of the scale as well.

General speaking the test I did awhile back was fairly accurate. I like the test I did because it dug deeper into the four area into different subsets. Each I found to be rather accurate.

Lastly, I don't feel the Myers Briggs reflects dominance, submission etc. neither is it a complete view of ones personality. What find is that it helps to bring out some the strong aspects of ones personality... That makes a person predictable but then there is a whole set of things where one is in the middle of the spectrum that one can go either way on and that is when it gets interesting.

Here are the key words that are my strongest qualities of personality from the test I completed...

Spontaneous, Emergent, Realistic, Theoretical, Logical, Questioning, Tough, Receiving, Contained, Intimate, Reflective, Quiet

INFP. Submissive. When I take these tests I usually get
INFP. I believe this is considered The Idealist personality
and artistic/creative personality type. So that fits me and
I'm introvert. I don't these tests show dominance or submission
though. I know introverted Doms and extroverted subs, etc

As for personality type things I find the enneagram very interesting.
It's based on some of the teachings of G.I. Gurdjieff. When I went
through psychoanalysis the analyst used the enneagram as a
tool. There have been several interesting books written about it.
The only test I saw for it online was one you had to pay to take
but there are probably some free ones out there.

Usually an emergent personality is one that is changing, not yet fully developed, but yet still perceives him/herself in a consistent personality.
