Don't have a fucking clue what this means but....:

Your personality type: ENTP.

Strength of individual traits: E - 2%, N - 44%, T - 4%, P - 6%.

. . . It means you're only a 50% match for me (off by 2 letters).

Glad to see you finally decided to divulge your results to the rest of us, how very E of you.
Nice new avatar(s)--care to tell us which one represents you, Lookie, the one on the left, or the right like your last one?

I am a INFP I have taken the test twice with Ten years and a nervous break down in between. My scores were nearly identical. I am also a sexual submissive. I think there is a lot of validity in the test even given it age. Lots of statistical data has been collected and although there are exceptions it scores a high percentile for accuracy. This is of course are nature and our learned comunication mightt be total opposite. They say we revert back to our natural behavior when under stress.

Self tests like that one have very limited value, and do not show much since all the answers will be affected by how you answer.
Nobody, even the most honest person will give 100% accurate replies!

And even though I am certain that those who made such a test will try to compensate for the fact that people in general will try to do so.
I must say that in the end the test have very limited value.

To get a better result, one should let a set of friends do the test on how they perceive you - and then average that result.

I agree that friends may have a different perception, but it does not make it reality.
With a lot of "I like" and "I cannot stand" statements, I feel as though people would misconstrue actions over feelings.
An example. I hate chaos yet my workspace is usually exactly that. To others looking in, they may feel as though I enjoy working like that, not aware that I'm looking at the mess out of the corner of my eye figuring out ways to better organize myself.

The test was meant to be administered by a professional. I believe a third-party, an outsider, would be most accurate. They're more apt to tie feelings and actions together.

But, like you, I still do believe these tests have little (to no) value.

This was discussed years ago as well, the results are very consistent here and in other online non-kink communities.

The INxx is NOT a sign of dominance or submission, it is a sign of participating in online discussions!!

The cornerstone to personality testing is OCEAN. This system is used on O*Net http://www.onetonline.org/ . Openness to experience, Conscientiousness, Extroversion, Agreeableness and Extroversion. Another test is the PF16. Ocean and PF16 are the two dominant tests out there used by IO psychologist.

Hmm. I did some googling on 16PF. It looks to me like its designers concentrated almost entirely on social interaction. Its parameters look relatively useful if they can be trusted, but there's a lot more to a personality than what they're testing for.

At least 16PF tries to derive some kind of shape of a personality, unlike the MMPI, which (at least in the original version I took long ago) only seemed to look for things its creators thought were problems.

I was given the INTJ personality. I was kinda surprised that only 2% of people are INTJ (since there are 16 categories, that's a 6.25% average).

After reading it, INTJ does seem to describe me reasonably well. Actually, it described me very well in regards to some things, such as:

"INTJs dislike rules and artificial limitations – everything should be questionable and open to re-evaluation." As well as, "They are natural leaders and excellent strategists, but willingly give way to others vying for a leadership position".

I know some may interpret that as 'horoscope wording', but those two quotes describe me precisely. I was a little disturbed when I seen Putin in the picture though lol.

ENFJ and Domme.

Your personality type: ENFJ.
Strength of individual traits: E - 18%, N - 16%, F - 36%, J - 42%.

Extroverted
Expressive, outgoing, prefer group activities, eager to speak their minds, more comfortable when around other people than when alone, get energized by social interaction.
iNtuitive
Introspective, rely on their imagination, absorbed in ideas, focus on what might happen.
Feeling
Sensitive, follow their hearts, keep feelings close to the surface, focus on harmony and cooperation.
Judging
Decisive, prefer clear rules and guidelines, eager to commit, see deadlines as sacred, seek closure.

ENFJs are usually very charismatic and eloquent, finding it natural and easy to communicate their ideas and opinions......they instinctively know how to combine passion and rational arguments, drawing the audience’s attention and reaching every mind....ENFJ personalities are very intuitive. They find it easy to sense other people’s motives and find connections between seemingly unrelated events. ENFJs also tend to be quite good at analyzing their own feelings and questioning them if necessary.

On the other hand, such intuitiveness and sensitivity can also cause significant difficulties for people with this personality type – they may be too altruistic and empathic, getting too involved in other people’s problems, and then finding it difficult to detach and stop worrying. In extreme cases, this can even affect the ENFJs’ perception of themselves. ENFJs are optimistic idealists, often trusting other people more than they should – although this usually turns out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy. As already mentioned above, ENFJs can be very convincing and inspiring. People are drawn towards strong personalities and the ENFJ’s charisma can often be a uniting and motivating factor.

This explains to me why I hate chaos and love to have definite rules and guidelines to go by....and I absolutely hate to be late or miss a deadline. I love group activities and love to get involved with getting new things going. I do a good chunk of volunteering. My friends say I have this weird ability to know just why someone is thinking what they are, what their motives are, and how they're feeling.

NBMG

ENFJ and sub.

I think the problem with personality types and BDSM is that there doesn't necessarily have to be any overlap between the way a person naturally is, and the way it turns them on to be.

It's not what you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

Mine said INFJ.

http://www.16personalities.com/infj-personality

The INFJ type is believed to be very rare (less than 1 percent of the population) and it has an unusual set of traits. Even though their presence can be described as very quiet, INFJ personalities usually have many strong opinions, especially when it comes to issues they consider really important in life. If an INFJ is fighting for something, this is because they believe in the idea itself, not because of some selfish reasons.

INFJ personalities are drawn towards helping those in need – they may rush to the place of a major disaster, participate in rescue efforts, do charity work etc. INFJs see this as their duty and their purpose in life – people with this personality type firmly believe that nothing else would help the world as much as getting rid of all the tyrants. Karma and similar concepts are very attractive to INFJs.

These tendencies are also strengthened by the fact that INFJ personalities have a unique combination of idealism and decisiveness – this means that their creativity and imagination can be directed towards a specific goal. Few other personality types have this trait and this is one of the most important reasons why many INFJs are able to eventually realize their dreams and make a lasting positive impact.

INFJs are masters of written communication, with a distinctively smooth and warm language. In addition, the sensitivity of INFJs allows them to connect to others quite easily. Their easy and pleasant communication can often mislead bystanders, who might think that the INFJ is actually an extrovert.

INFJs should be careful to avoid “overheating” as their zeal and determination can sometimes get out of hand. As introverts, INFJs need to have some “alone time” every once in a while or otherwise their internal energy reserves will get depleted really quickly. If this happens, the INFJ may surprise everybody around them by withdrawing from all their activities for a while – and since other people usually see INFJs as extroverts, this can leave them both surprised and concerned.

INFJs take great care of other people’s feelings and expect others to return the favor. Unsurprisingly, people with this personality type are very sensitive and vulnerable to conflicts – even the most rational INFJs may find it quite difficult to not take criticism personally. This is the INFJ’s Achilles’ heel – if someone with an INFJ personality cannot escape the conflict, they will do their best to deal with it head on, but this will result in a lot of stress and may also potentially lead to health problems or highly irrational behavior.

I take exception to the possible highly irrational behavior thing.
If I need to wade my bare feet through water puddles, make snow angels, blow bubbles after a rain to see how many I can make stick to the grass without bursting, sunbathe in a lounger with big fat Pikachu house slippers on...this behaior isn't irrational. (If it works for me and hurts nobody...pfft.) Someone who doesn't know me might think that I've flipped, but friends...would just smile. My most irrational behavior...is PTSD and panic disorder. I cannot stop the flow of ugly chemicals into my brain (I HATE adrenaline) once triggered, and have to remember to breathe and deal with my high anxiety. During these times, I also "shoot myself in the foot" by ostrich type behaivor...yep, I stick my head in the sand and wait days till I calm down before biting the bullet instead of just getting something unpleasant over with.

The energy thing was dead on. I let myself get sucked dry and so I've been taking some downtime since early October and probably won't end my "cave time" until spring.
