The tweets clearly indicate his hatred of white people and that his target of choice would be a white person.

Hating someone and going to look for one of them to kill are two different things. I know growing up in the south many who hated black people, yet never would have hurt a single one.

True but if they proclaimed their hatred of blacks and then killed one a reasonable person would suspect a connection.

I dont see too many reasonable people when it comes to this issue... on either side.

Not to put words in your mouth but doesn't this mean you agree.

tazzygirl -> RE: Bored in Oklahoma (8/23/2013 12:58:45 PM)

Not at all. Reasonable people do not simply assume. I didnt assume with Zimmerman.. and I dont now. It takes more than just saying you hate something for someone to be guilty of a crime... especially murder.

I didn't say assume, I said suspect. Surely a reasonable person would suspect a connection.
To dismiss it is to assume there is not one.

tazzygirl -> RE: Bored in Oklahoma (8/23/2013 1:20:45 PM)

I dont assume there is one. Again, I can say I hate many people... or even a group of people... but stretching that statement to mean I killed any of them is a massive stretch. We also have to take into consideration who made the decision among them. Do we know? Was it that one? Where did the guns come from? Was anyone else outside at that time? A busy street or just simply a passing opportunity when no other presented itself?

How would you like to be a cop at 2am in the morning and having to deal with a stranger you don't know one little bit about?

That what cops go to school to learn how to do.

They ordered the man to put his hands up where they could see them,

Of course everyone would immediately put their hands up????right????[8|]

BUT instead he spun around to face them.

Omg someone behind me tells me to put my hands up...and I turn around to see who the fuck they are????

quote:

That wouldn't shock you as a cop?

No, it would seem quite normal but then I am not some punk ass motherfucker who thinks he is licensed to kill.

........................................

Wasnt so long ago that a teenager had such lack of respect for life that he was killed for wearing a hoodie and drinking tea.

My understanding is that everyone in cuba is armed and their murder rate is dramatically less than the u.s..

I don't think so, Thompson. See e.g.
http://www.examiner.com/article/cuba-s-forced-amnesty-demonstrates-tyrannical-intent-of-gun-control : Cuba is " . . . a state where almost no one except some active military personnel and plain-clothed state security agents are allowed to possess weapons."

The article seemed a little long on opinion and a little short on facts.
Below is a portion of the cuban constitution. Don't bother to look neither oz or the u.s. chose to include this particular safeguard in their constitutions.

“When no other recourse is possible, all citizens have the right to struggle through all means, including armed struggle, against anyone who tries to overthrow the political, social and economic order established in this Constitution.”
