Where you are correct is that the topic of a woman cutting off a man's penis has been turned into a mainstream-punchline and no, as far as I can recall, the same can not be said for similar violence against vulvas and vaginas. However, women who are shot in their vaginas usually die due to internal hemorrhaging. Again, I am asking you, how are you invested in changing these things that bother you? I have posted groups that promote activism on those topics before.

Did you contact the television station that you mentioned you've seen the video on? Contact any of the sponsors that purchased advertising spots during that particular program? Those types of options would seem like more worthwhile endeavors. Bringing the complaint to a message board is about as effective as pissing in the wind.

If a thread was made about the lad mags article I cited earlier and the OP was in favour of the protest, how many people would be coming in the thread giving examples of mags that indicate violence against men and telling the OP to stop being whiny? Is there disproportionately low funding for domestic violence services for men? Yes. Are there ways to proactively work on changing that? Yes. Are there activism groups and proactive measures that a concerned man could join and engage in? Yes. Is there a way to positively influence these causes? Yes. But you are not doing that. It is only whiny when the person pointing out the same issues (over and over) is not doing anything about their own personal issues and is not doing anything constructive about the social ones.. And it is impossible to be in dialogue with someone who is impeding all attempts at same.
