Let's talk about rimming. I have been a Dom male since birth and have enjoyed rimming a clean, female rosebud nearly that long. I am not sure where that desire stems from. Is it because I was raised as the oldest of 4 boys with no sisters? Is it because I'm an ass man?  
 
I'm not sure where it comes from and I'm not sure I care where it comes from. I just know that with the right lady I doubt there is much more, outside of water sports, which could represent a more intimate form of pleasuring and sharing. The anus, even a "clean" one is loaded with e.coli bacteria which the human mouth does not harbor. E.coli can make someone very, very sick.

Only if you have E-coli in your intestines and bowels at the time. You do not automatically have E-coli on your anus.

Most people have very good immune systems which would prevent them from getting sick. However, I was just correcting the OP's claim that a clean anus has less dangerous bacteria than a human mouth.
Actually, E. coli is not only on your clean anus it is on your buttocks and upper thighs. All healthy guts have E. coli. There isn't a time when you don't have it.

To the OP. I've worked in laboratories for decades. I know whereof I speak.

Some female Dommes will perform oral sex on their male subs rather than have them perform it on them...Does not matter whether it is a "dominant" "top""bottoming" "submissive" act...it is a matter or imposing your will on to another person....

Far as cleanliness or the "ick" factor...can't tell you but probably more WON'T rim or don't find it arousing but, hey, there is a key for every lock just might have to search a little harder.

To worry about one bacteria strain in one area of the human body... Human beings are literally infested with bacteria. We begin life and end life with these things living and growing and multiplying in every fiber of our being. It has been calculated that a human adult houses about 10,000,000,000,000 bacteria on the skin, 100,000,000,000 in the mouth, and 1,000,000,000,000,000 in the gastrointestinal tract. The latter number is far in excess of the number of eucaryotic cells in all the tissues and organs which comprise a human. Most prevalent are streptococci (located in the mouth, teeth, and throat area), and staphylococci on the skin and nasal passages. Incidentally, the sheer volume of bacteria in the upper areas of our body are what make the human bite quite dangerous if left untreated.
