That had occurred to me too. She's not a co-worker however, she's a customer who comes by once in awhile. That said, I do worry that if I admit to her that I have sub tendencies that my co-workers may find out and that might be awkward.

Rick .. IMO

messing with a customer, is even worse. In my career we call customers, clients, LOL But it means the same thing.

I believe, you should just try this: make Her approach you!

Sounds out of the box, and it is, BUT, I have seen this work, several times before.

Just be very subservient to Her at all times. When She observes how subservient you are in real life, then if She is a Domme, She will make Her move.

You, taking any initiative in this regard, leaves your career just flushed down the toilet. Yet when She makes Her move, and She WILL, smile, play humble and WILLING TO be led, where ever She desires.

I mean this sincerely! Let Her make a move. Dommes do, you know?

Just get yourself physically in shape and go out. A desirable man, dating others, sometimes motivates the predatory instinct in a Lady. And when you see that, you see HUGE Domme instincts emerging. Then you know, you have seduced Her! LOL

FYI, Red Magic made some really good points on acceptance, but don't BUY INTO IT!

Just today, on the southeastern Michigan newspapers, was the headline, Master Bob kills wife; holds his submissive in Dungeon.

they said there is a BDSM website Master Bob frequented ... (likely Collar Me???)

And the BLAME is the BDSM lifestyle,

Red doesn't see that headline where he is, but .... they imply BDSM as the reason for the murder.

The front pages say a BDSM web site is consistently referenced during the Trial. They don't say Collar Me ... but I know LH and others in the area, departed this site, as soon as the arrest was made.

So like don't ever assume, the Lifestyle is more accepted!

It really isn't, except by mature, mutually consenting, adults.

Be careful taking this type of approach. I would find it very off-putting if someone was overly submissive to me in a public setting. It would be seen as a desperate act, not an act of strength or real submission.

Actually, You make a really good point.

Being submissive, in a real life atmosphere, does require the sub to have some brains and wits about what he is doing.

Never meant the sub should crawl in a dining room full of people at the best restaurant in town. ROFL

The sub really needs to be a very complimentary, helpful person. No different than any other GENTLEMAN, in real life.

And, assuming the Lady is a Domme, She will respond.

Court testimony reveals the site as Alt.com. I only found audio on the daughter's testimony, but she mentions it several times.

We've had threads on it here. Easily accessed. Keywords "Master Bob Detroit" brought it up on google.

Solicitation of murder doesn't sell as many papers as BDSM practitioner has wife killed and attempts to arrange other hits from jail. While the BDSM is the sensationalism, that dude is going to be convicted based on the crimes, rather than the kink.

You are correct in your defense of the lifestyle.

But that is NOT my point to Rick ...

The point to Rick is: do not overtly reveal yourself as into this lifestyle, in vanilla surroundings, especially at your JOB pursuing a LADY he thinks is Domme ...

It IS NOT socially accepted, in any way shape or form ... even when the Ladies get "sparkly eyed" .. over Shade of Gray!

That said, I will leave the rest of my reply off the boards.

Simply know ANYONE suggesting BDSM is more socially acceptable, will get a contradictory reply from me.

There is nothing about the case that remotely suggests the blame is on the BDSM lifestyle.

The case is about a man who cheated on his wife with at least 2 women and who then first hired someone to kill his wife and then tried to hire someone to kill the man he hired.

BDSM is merely part of the set design.

And lurid details help sell the story.

I think you might be a little harsher on this than I am for the scenario. The OP is either a bartender or a server. One of the customers came in, had a couple too many, and was more candid than normal. As far as risk assessment goes, either of us could be right or wrong. I'd be really surprised if bartenders have stopped going home with customers, kinky or not.

As You may know, the only bartenders I meet, are the ones who serve me. LOL

I won't. As far as she knows I'm Mr. Vanilla, and I sometimes wonder if that is why she flirts with me. She made one BDSM comment to me and I blushed and from then on she seemed to flirt quite a bit, but again I can't tell yet if there is anything behind it or if she just wants to get a reaction out of me.

I work the door checking ID mostly (bouncer) and generally make sure that nothing gets out of hand. I definitely do not need the hassle of my co-workers and/or customers knowing about my BDSM/sub side so I will be cautious about disclosing this to her unless I am sure I can trust her, so I will proceed with some caution.
