You forgot Timothy McVeigh didnt use a gun.

Nah. I didn't forget it. It doesn't fit because McVeigh was a dupe.

Any guess where the Rose Law Firm records that Hillary Rotten Clinton was ordered to turn over to investigators were stored?

Anyone? Bueller?

Actually, I was a High school teacher and I got to get know a lot of the little scumbags. The cool thing is that one or 2 of them ended up becoming cops.

What's so cool about scumbags becoming cops? Did any also become attorneys? And just wait till they run for Congress

No doubt some of them did.
One of the nastiest little characters (theft, drugs, assault, gang activity etc.) I ever had the pleasure of teaching was driving a squad car just a few months after graduation and I will absolutely guarantee that he couldn't pass a drug screen.

Should he have died because he chose to carry out a horrible but minor crime? Definitely not.

Outcomes such as this are almost inevitable when two gun toting macho males end up in a confrontation...

Guns and aggressive macho males are a very dangerous combination. Period.

Armed robbery is a "minor crime"? Yeah. Ahem. And what's all this rot about "gun toting macho males" being applied indiscriminately to a feral teenager waving his gun at an innocent couple and a guy who was peacefully minding his own business defending himself? If that isn't pushing a revisionist version of reality, I don't know what would be.

I'm trying to figure out if armed robbery is a "minor crime", what is armed going about your own business? If armed robbery is no biggie, why bitch about law-abiding citizens doing armed grocery shopping or armed bowling or armed movie-going?

Curious jump of logic here. Where does one acquire the "right"to steal other peoples shit?

My point exactly.

No one but you has said it is wrong to stop them.
How does one claim a "right" from anothers inaction?

Did you miss the part were I asked if I had to spell out sarcasm for people to realize that's what it is?

The murder rate dropping by more than 50% is a total failure?

Except that it didn't happen

maybe it's because english is not my native language but a drug dealer isn't someone you go to and give money in exchange of a dose of drug?

Unless they decide that they just want your money or your car and steal it.
By and large, these are not honest businesspersons.

Honest or no, they won't stay in business long if they rob all their customers. What's better for a salesman - to keep their regular customers happy and paying every single week and bringing their friends to pay, or to piss off their customers and get a bad rep? Hint: it's the former.

Who said they rob their customers?

My stuff is insured, seems an easier way of doing things

Right - no wallet is worth killing or dying for. Those credit cards can be cancelled, that driver's license and $50 in cash can be replaced. Your life can't, your freedom from prison (since in most places you have a duty to retreat) can't.

No duty to retreat in Alabama and you presume it is safe to put your well being in the hands of criminals.

No the thug gave up his life by threatening them with harm. He died not because the cop valued his credit card above the thugs life, but because he valued his girlfriend above the thugs life.

No.

The mugger died because the cop shot him dead. Pure and simple.

Did he die as a consequence of his own poor decision-making? Definitely.

Was the mugger's choice a defensible one? Definitely not.

Should he have died because he chose to carry out a horrible but minor crime? Definitely not.

Outcomes such as this are almost inevitable when two gun toting macho males end up in a confrontation - irrespective of the actual circumstances. People have been shot over confrontations arising out of circumstances as trivial as parking disputes .

Guns and aggressive macho males are a very dangerous combination. Period.

Does this mean you do not believe in the right of self defense?
Because by any rational interpretation this qualifies, or should the cop have waited until they started carving him and his girlfriend up?

Oh, he should have waited longer than that. He should also have apologized for the fact that his gf was screaming so loud and some of his tougher tissues might dull the knife blade.

Eulero, what I said was "Unless they decide that they just want your money or your car and steal it.
By and large, these are not honest businesspersons."

I understand that English may not be your first language but do try to keep up with the program and use something like comprehension.

If you wish, I can flood you with several dozen articles where dealers have robbed and/or killed their customers and/or suppliers.

considering the millions of dealers and tens of millions of transactions daily it would seem that a few dozen instances would be a statistically irrelivant number.

Who said there were only a few dozen instances?

I said I can supply dozens of articles. I could just as easily said hundreds or thousands but that's overkill and the recipient is unlikely to read that many.

Please attempt some reading comprehension in the future.

Is it remotely possible that the number might reach a statistacally significant number of say 25%?

A 25% murder rate would be well over significant LOL
