This recent local news live groping video caught my eye and made me wonder:

What's clear in the video is that the female newscaster understood the primal male to be groping her on live TV, and she handled the groping of her breast with aplomb.

It's not clear whether the male actually intended to grope, but, the actions appear to directly mimic the primal desire all males that I know have, which is the desire to stick our hands down a woman's blouse in order to fondle her breasts.

The wonderfully refreshing reaction from the new reporter got me wondering though, if women have the same primal groping need of men (I've never experienced it, so, hence the question) - and - what are women's responses when they 'are' groped.

Preface: I didn't watch the vid.

The only folks I have a desire to grope are those I know and love. I do not allow groping, even from those I know and love.

ETA: just watched the vid; yes, much aplomb. Nice job, reporter! However, had that been a human I would have groped his balls with my knee.

Well, that's certainly an interesting conclusion you've reached there. I think what's more likely is that she understood was that she was on live TV and she had to finish the segment intro rather than spaz out on camera.

I had a female rhesus monkey and she liked to grope, but there was no gender preference. She would group either sex and also loved pulling down peoples shorts to inspect their crotch. I don't think that particular monkey behavior has anything to do with human traits. Tell me your not serious. Do you have ANY idea how many leaps of faith you've got in that logic path... if you can even call it logic? So to be clear, you're making the claim that human mammaries are sexually attractive to baboons? Really? Do you realize that baboons do not have large fatty deposits which increase the size of their mammaries. In other words, such a sexual trigger would be utterly pointless.

But hey, let's ignore baboons for a moment. I have no primal desire to grope strange women. Man, I feel sorry for any guy who does. Walking through the mall must be pure hell.

How very fortunate for us women that men can fight that "primal" urge to shove their hand down our blouses.

I should say how very fortunate for those men. They're likely to get a swift kick to their man junk if they attempt it.

With that said, I do enjoy groping my husband but have no urge or desire to grope anyone else.

I just watched the vid. The baboon stood up and placed his hands on her, and one of those hands was on her breast. But didn't look like the baboon was "copping a feel". It looked more like it was trying to pose for a photo. The reporter is the one that said it was trying to cop a feel. That's what she interpreted it as. It looked like it was posing or using her to support his weight a little as he stood erect.

Now, wishing I could grab & squeeze some guy's muscular arm or cute ass is another matter, but not some random stranger, not even in an exotic male dancer setting (most of whom I don't find all that attractive) where such physical contact might be encouraged. Best policy for everyone to have is Look But Don't Touch, unless otherwise explicitly indicated and mutually desired.

No other apes, or even primates, have prominent breasts, so I doubt there would have been any sexual impulse there. Prominent breasts are pretty much a sapiens characteristic, like feet.

i like to touch Him all the time. however, that is because I can as I have permission to touch. He's a part of my life sexually so therefore i'm attracted to him. I don't look at other guys and want to grope them in any setting. by the same token if He wants to touch me then he can do so as and when he wishes. if any other guy were to try doing the same it's going to hurt him.

I tried to look at the video but it says that it's been removed. I understand from the comments above that what we are actually talking about is an ape, and not a man. animals we may still be, but we are supposed to be rather more advanced than our primate cousins. Haven't watched the video but the answer is no. I have had many men that were complete strangers try to grab at me or grope me throughout my life and they get slapped, kicked in the balls, or get a drink thrown on them. I have personally never witnessed a woman grope at a man and I've never heard a woman say, "God I just want to grab that guys dick." So like I said, gonna go with no. I'm not saying it's never ever happened but it's MUCH more frequent amongst men than women.

It Does happen in some asian countries (especially Japan) on crowded public transport. Trouble is, it's so damn crowded you are never to sure just WHO or what is groping you. It is literally tight-packed as sardines in a can at times.
