In 2006 the numbers of murder at 65.3 per 100,000 population, sexual offenses at 58.6 per 100,000, and thefts offenses at 70.5 per 100,000. They also have problems with drug smugglers.

According to the UNODC, the 2006 homicide rate in Saudi Arabia was 1.0 per 100k. That represents a drop from 1.2 per 100k in 2005, and the rate remained at 1.0 through 2007 (the latest year in the UNODC dataset).

Still I would not call Saudi Arabia crime free, I know you would.

It is in relation to virtually any country, there, of course no totally crime free society

You claim it was

"Only places like Saudi Arabia are what I would call crime free." post 175.[:)]

It was a relative statement , get over it.
And you claimed it has an very high crime rate which Kirata destroyed that being much further off the mark than my generalization.

1 I have never repeat never reported anyone to the mods
2 I am not about to let you close down this thread by daring me to report you.
3 Citizen vs subject is off subject

1) I never said you had, just told you the remedy if you were unhappy with my posts
2) You assume to know why I am posting.......yet again your assumption is incorrect
3) Of course it is off topic brains, so why did you bring it up in the first place if it wasnt to try and insult ?

It was a philosophical perspective if you find that insulting it is your problem.
And now back to our regularly schedueled thread

In any society a citizen has a duty to help protect the society, subjects not so much.

Your words (Bolded) are not so much philosphical perspective but drivel. You introduced them into the thread not me, and you are pissed because someone smarter than you (You know who I mean) pointed out your error. If you dont like getting pulled on posting bullshit, dont post it.

If you feel its not part of the thread then you shouldnt have made such an ignorant claim.

Both touchy and arrogant, you should work on that.

Why should we, you happily talked of subjects and citizens on here. You eroneously claimed that citizen had more civil duty than a subject. You still wont explain how that applies. You eroneously claimed you were a citizen while I was not, Yet you have the temerity to insist I am the arrogant one........Its just fucking laughable.

No need to go to another thread, since although unmoderated, insults are not allowed.

Guns as self-defense are so unreliable. I have seen video of trained law enforcement in gun battles with less than 10 feet separating cop from attacker and 10 or more shots fired and no one hit.

Oh. You saw a video. Well that settles everything.

Here's another one.

Go Tori, Go!!

Yeah so you saying not only should you carry a gun but also have a coach with you at all times to help you through the shooting, guiding you. Makes sense.

I'm guessing that's a judge, not a coach.

Good grief, its just a wise crack. We say it to each other referring to those of us here in America. "If you own a gun you're a citizen, if you don't you're a subject".

There is no opinion. It is what it is.

Politesub53 -> RE: What are the limits to self defense. (10/4/2013 5:15:03 PM)

Silly billy, there is always an opinion. That`s what makes debating what it is.

Which means it is my philosophical point of view.
Your disagreeing just means that it isn't yours.
You clearly lack the reasoning ability to understand this.
