Nonsense. The discussion was on being able to pull the trigger on another person, at the moment it is needed. Calling it 'reluctance' doesn't change that. Waffling around is what costs lives, and you proudly announced that you never bothered to overcome it. quote:

ORIGINAL: EdBowie So you accepted a pay check for a job where being able to pull the trigger could have meant the difference between life and death for other people, knowing that when the time came, you wouldn't do the job? And you actually defrauded the taxpayers and put other lives at risk, not once but twice? If you say so. quote:
ORIGINAL: Nosathro quote:
ORIGINAL: EdBowie If by 'sociopath', you are referring to the fact that police and military have to overcome the natural reluctance to pull the trigger in a life or death situation, that's true. Having both military and law enforcement, I never did lose your so called reluctance to shoot. butternutsquash has spoken the truth, it is just that as the saying goes "None so blind as those who will not see." And there are so many here that fit that. You misinterpret my post, I said I never lost the reluctance to shoot, never said I did not shoot. That bit of reluctance is something that is the difference between a sociopath and a "normal" person.
