Americans 34 times more interested in buy guns than Obamacare and the NICS website is handling the traffic.

yeah, fucking drooling imbecile zerohedge et al can suck a wad of cowpiss, you might as well quote trolls under the bridges as fuckin rancid shit like that.

The nics website has long been online, and has cost more with its trappings than Obamacare.  When all that assault weapons ban talk was on, NICS couldn't handle it,  there have been many times it cannot handle it.

Women on this site are 34 times more interested in giving me a blowjob than the fuckin NICS.  Its relevance is roughly equal to your comparison.

He's right. NICS has a tendency to bog down a lot. It's only happened to me once, took a couple of days before I got the okee-dokee to complete the transaction. One gent I know had to wait a month and a half to get a rifle, just because he shared the same name as a felon.

mnottertail -> RE: ***Unmoderated Gun rights debate - Self Defense to 2nd Amendment *** (11/13/2013 10:51:13 AM)

OH, actually, that cannot always be directly attributable to the NBC system, they may have to go to get feedback from a State BCA, or leftover district court case, or child support, and some of those guys can be just as much a  house of the living dead as dmv.

The friend who had to wait indicates the system works.  A flag was raised and had to be investigated by alive human which led to the delay without just disqualifying him outright.

What a spectacularly encouraging statistic! Who now would dare to say that common sense and balanced priorities are lacking in the USA?

Yes and no. He'd had the same problem before, but NICS had inserted an addendum to his file which showed the difference. He'd bought and sold several weapons before this happened. The guy is a Winchester collector, and buys, sells and trades rifles quite often. It wasn't supposed to happen anymore, but the system froze on that flag for some reason.

You know, you often say things that you should provide fact links to, but apparently you've never been relevant enough or interesting enough for anyone to call you on it.

NCIS has been in operation online since 1998.  You can see if you can look that one up, sportster. Thanks for playing.

Lol, in the sense of Lao Tzu and you, yes. But it seems you are diminished from that. I'm just trying to figure out if what is obvious about your presence is true and correct. So I'm stating what you seem.

Its not even a comparison of remotely like terms. Lets compare something that is in more 'like' terms:

1 ) A Firearm or a case of really good beer?
2 ) A Firearm or a REALLY good book?
3 ) A Firearm or a good camera?
4 ) A Firearm or 12 months of personal instruction at the gym?
5 ) A Firearm or tickets to a good show
6 ) A Firearm or 50 yard seats for the Super Bowl

Most people will take the second item over the first . Your comparison has to do with political mud slinging, mine has to do with practical use of money. You can rage all you want about the Affordable Care Act. You'll either have a healthcare plan in some form or paying the fine (1% or $95 of yearly gross income which ever is higher). Your side lost the election in 2008 and you STILL can not handle it like a grown up. But yet, you want us to consider you a grown up when you behave like a kid in junior high school with that immature attitude and inability to handle adult issues effecting the nation at large? You want to be treated like a grown up? Then behave like a grown up! The more you behave like a child the more you help the gun control types out.

PeonForHer -> RE: ***Unmoderated Gun rights debate - Self Defense to 2nd Amendment *** (11/13/2013 3:49:32 PM)

Joe, honestly: live in any English-speaking country other than the USA for five years. Even Canada. Even South Africa, whose murder rate is appalling. Become a diehard right-winger in that country if you like - whatever suits. It doesn't matter. You *will* end up looking at US right-wingers - no matter how 'intelligent', 'moderate', 'balanced' and 'down-to-earth' they believe they are, and think, 'Jesus, I thought they were a bit weird before - now I think they're frigging lunatics'. That will never be more striking to you than on the subject of guns.

So the point of your post is that when conservatives act like liberals then we seem dumb. I've always understood that. I think it's you who doesn't understand that. That's why liberals hate Ann Colter. She treats them like every liberal treats everyone else. It's a joke that liberals never get.

No, when American conservatives try to come over a bit liberal - as best as they can - it looks like they're trying to act like they're modern humans. It doesn't work and it's a bit embarrassing, frankly. That's what the problem is.

I hope that helps.
