So breaking news saying shots fired near capital. They're saying apparently this woman attempted to run into the White House but failed then was chased up to the capital. http://www.wjla.com/articles/2013/10/u-s-capitol-on-lockdown-94855.html

And the Mail comes through with the woman's name - Miriam Carey, a 34-year-old dental hygienist from Stamford, Connecticut. ABC: After making an initial identification of the suspect, police are trying to confirm that the suspect is a 34-year-old woman from Stamford, Conn., with a history of mental health issues.

Does anyone else find anything fishy about the whole mental health issue. It seems that anything that has to do with politics and guns or violence involves a mentally unstable person.

No not really. It makes sense to me that anyone with a child in the vehicle, ramming cop cars and officers alike would either be high or unstable.

The only guns involved were the ones carried by the Capitol Police and the Secret Service. She was unarmed. Is it really a stretch to believe that someone who would ram barricades with her kid in the car might be "mentally unstable?"
