Even someone raised by wolves wouldn't think that.

No, but someone raised by Hanuman might.

The tigers were not the the favourites of the Blue Lord, Ser.

The Mischevious Varuna were the ones who saved Lanka and retrieved Sita, oh rakshasa-faced Ser.

Food for thought. *weg*

Indra?

couldn't even get "there" had it not been for Hanuman, buddy.

I know it galls "Shir Khan"that the regal and noble couldn't have done the sultry feline walk on the field of victory had it not been for Hairy Little Tricksters, but such is true.

translation: tigers like the ones we see described by Rudyard Kipling, inspired by metaphysical tigers as we see featured in the greatest saga of Hindi mythology - The Battle of Lanka - would never have had a chance to do anything in these tales, these stories, these histories, had it not been for the monkey characters whom exhibited excellent mixtures of Trickster Creativity and Abstract Reasoning applied to tactics and strategies while combatting the forces of Ravanna himself.

and THIS is a fair trade. we do the work, YOU get the nap, but when you wake up, YOU get to tear the dipshits sneaking into our shared territory into bits too tiny to be used for even the weakest, cheapest pet food.

state the amount of jugulars and carotids and breathing-anatomy plus renal arteries you are willing to decimate per hour, and we'll talk.

I mean, that IS Tiger acumen. Frankly the ad stated "Master's Degree or better only need apply". But we offer significant benefits for over-achievers.

No surprise. This is going to be a war of public opinion at this point, with both the GOP Senators and Obama/Dem lawmakers each trying to score points with the electorate.

Obama should have the edge because:

1. Not much has changed since Newt pulled the same stunt.
2. Obama has the bully pulpit.

Except Bill Clinton did cave and negotiate. He even wound up being forced into a balanced budget (aided by increased revenue of the dotcom boom, of course) that he later claimed all the credit for. President Obama has not left himself any room to wiggle.

He's pretty much exhausted his bully pulpit too, from too much bullying, and too much bullshit. He's sharkjumping on a regular basis, and expects the media to keep right on carrying his water. That may not happen.

What Clinton agreed to was a pay as you go from that point on fiscal 1996 and he got his tax increase 4 years before that on a bill that every single repub voted against (senate...Gore broke a tie) saying the sky was going to fall. In his first state of the union address long before the shutdown, Clinton said the era of big govt. was over but was the only pres. in the 50 years to actually preside over a reduction in the federal payroll.

The last repub was Ike, and that was a post WWII reduction and the only conservative repub to occupy the white house in the 20th cent. unless one counts the incompetent but 'conservative' do nothing H. Hoover.

I'm a modern tiger. I buy my meat at the store like anyone else. I just want to relax in air conditioning, send my kids to a nice school, and give my slaves their beatings. Perhaps I could trade one day of saving the world from demons a year?

That degree BS always trips me up though. Tigers don't mix with formal education.

Boy, I sure wish I'd been able to collect back pay for all those times I've been laid off over the years.

Whats that got to do with the shutdown ?

Contractors being laid off will not be paid wages during the shutdown. We are talking private industry and they don't want to pay people...when they do come to work.

What's wage theft up to now anyway 100's of $billions ? That's a tell. Come on kinkroids...isn't capitalism fun ?

This whole thing is just the process by which we transition to anarcho-capitalism. Enjoy the ride.

No not anarchy but a police state and called capitalist fascism. Hey these things take time so be patient my slave, you too will soon be eating co. food, drinking co. water, living in the new Eden of the...co. town. Think how rich you will feel when after 30 years you retire and owe...the co. money. Inflation don't ya'know.

Think man, if you're real good and make enough of a profit for them to let you live to 80...you'll still be soylent green

The people believed obama when he was said he was going to usher in an unprecedented era of bipartisanship. But then he ran into the repubs...so.
The people believed obama when he said it would be the most transparent administration in history. It probably is.
The people believed obama when he said if you like your healthcare you can keep it. As far as I know...you can unless your capitalist master doesn't feel like still contributing what he was before the ACA and we all all know that works out.
The people believed obama when he said healthcare would cost $2500 less. But then this is capitalism...your money or your life please.

Not a apples to apples comparison. Romney's plan and end goal was for Healthcare. (How many pages was Romney's bill?)

Obama's plan is for CONTROL thru healthcare. (How many pages was Obama's bill?) Libs have a fantasy that only they are "smart" enough to run things. Tell us how much and what to eat, ect, ect, ect. etc.

Where do people get this shit ? Beck ? Limb...erger ?
