For example, if someone puts a person on Hide because he wants to ignore them, it would be ironic to find him repeatedly taking advantage of every opportunity to post insulting comments about them. One might almost think that he didn't really want to ignore the person at all, only to tie their hands so he could insult them with impunity. K.

I am not sure how they would know which car was yours? Are you sure it wasn't someone who already knew you and just didn't like you? The first time it was the only Illinois plate in the lot. The second time I had been confronted by the bible thumper before going in, he was trying to intimidate everyone but his supporters from even going in. The third time, car was keyed not slashed, a creationist saw me unloading NCSE labeled material from my car and started screaming at me and had to be physically restrained by a local police officer. So no none of them knew me before and somehow miraculously my car was vandalized on 3 separate occasions.
