You dont need to google bacon wrapped mushrooms, just get large mushrooms, wrap em in bacon, throw em on the grill and serve when done.

I think the question you gotta ask yourself is: Are these turkeys morbidly obese? If they are only plump. Hell no they don't count.

I have never understood the obsession with bacon. Even when I ate pork, for me it was sausage. Sausage at least has some flavor - all spicy and such. Bacon, not so much. Those tiny little strips? Really? They're just little meat crackers. It's a texture thing for me, too. Bacon just doesn't have much "stuff". I want something with some depth and substance. ... that's why sausage is better. Something to chew. I just don't get the bacon thing. Flavor - no. Texture - no. And it's crazy greasy. Blech.

Here in Korea, everything is ham. You can't even get an egg salad sandwich without ham on it. I often find myself grumbling, "Why do Koreans want to starve me?" because here, the only thing they don't put ham on is tuna. I eat a lot of tuna.

Yeah I don't get the bacon thing either. As I've said I don't hate it I just don't really eat it all that much.

Using FR:

Why do people get so overweight? 1. It is unattractive. 2. It makes you seem ill disciplined. 3. It is unhealthy. 4. It makes life practically difficult. 5. It is bad for hormones, energy and happiness. 6. Fat people earn less and can get into far less jobs. However, people still continue to eat, eat, eat. So I was wondering what the opinion on this is, in this online bdsm community is? Is it an obsession with physical pleasure like a drug addiction? If so should they be treated like drug addicts and put in prison :).

I suggest watching this free movie on Hulu for some insight:

Simple!!!
Get decent bacon - not those silly little fatty strips you have in the US.

And bake them instead of frying so they're not flabby and greasy. Crispy and delicious!

ETA: Ooooops, I missed 'thou shalt not discriminate' in Gamma's post. Sowwwwwy (pun intended.)

Sorry, chewy bacon is just wrong. It has to be crispy.

And you don't wrap the mushroom in bacon, you chop up the bacon and stuff the mushroom with it. Sheesh, everyone knows that!
