Or Debra Kleinhoffer in Chicago - whose premium went from $145 to 650.

I've no problem with life being not fair.

However, institutionalizing it, ie., making it a federal program to make life more unfair, is neither wise nor legal.

"We the people, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice and ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general welfare , and ensure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this constitution for the United States of America.

OH, not so, see the SCOTUS rulings on the equal protections clause, that are pretty unfair to some folks.

So CBS News reports:

QSSI (the contractor for obamacare) has a data tab widget that daily shows the numbers of enrollments.

So despite the administration saying the numbers are unavailable, time after time after time - its just another lie. The numbers are available - and contractors who participate in the daily war room meetings confirm that the numbers are available and discussed daily.

Another lie brought to you by the most transparent administration, ever.

You constantly blather on about personal responsibility and how life is not fair . Now you want us to cry with you over some percieved injustice to some poor person. Pardon me if I find your concern for the poor less than believable.

Funny bout that "promote the general welfare" shit...why is it that you are bitching about it?

Ron, I have to hand it to you. Only you, with a straight face, could say that EQUAL protection is unfair.

My congratulations. Have you considered political office?

There are some who claim that the preamble is not part of the constitution so I am glad that you are on record as agreeing that it is part and parcel of the constitutioon.
Now about that promote the general welfare shit. It would appear that the aca is fulfilling that pledge.

Oh - and this just in:

In California, officials announced that a major insurer - Blue Shield of California Life and Health Insurance Co - has agreed to allow 115,000 state consumers who had been notified of cancellations to keep their lower-priced policies through the first quarter of next year

How is this even legal? Of course what does the administration care about that.

Delay the employer mandate
Grants for congressmen
Sure - hell why not allow an illegal delay...

You might want to run this by a grammar teacher it seems to be self contradictory.
ie:
"I have no problem with life being not fair".
followed by
"however...making it more unfair"
is something you disaprove of.

I got to hand it to you, you havent got a kindergarden reading comprehension level.

SCOTUS is pretty much a political office, and they are the ones saying equal protection aint, and you can make laws to fuck over certain classes of people with a rationale for it, to your hearts content.

But you go girl, you can learn to read.  There is a program.  Comprehension, there is nothing to do for you there.

The Times is reporting

"Senator Lisa Murkowski, Republican of Alaska, said that only three residents of her state had enrolled in health plans through the federal exchange as of Oct. 29. "

Three.

FR~   For the people that couldn't pass the test to ride the short bus.

Federal Communications Commission v Beach (1993), the Court went so far as to say that economic regulations satisfy the equal protection requirement if "there is any conceivable state of facts that could provide a rational basis for the classification."  Justice Stevens, concurring, objected to the Court's test, arguing that it is "tantamount to no review at all."

The Court applies a middle-tier scrutiny (a standard that tends to produce less predictable results than strict scrutiny or rational basis scrutiny) to gender and illegitimacy classifications.

OH hell, no. I think you can pretty much discount anything this administration says the moment he says it.

You know - like if you like your health insurance, you can keep it.
Or... that red line in Syria.

So while I certainly know that the number will be politicized (like it already has been for failure to release) all I'm noting is the number is available. Claims to the contrary are false.

Look. The administration published numbers about enrollments - remember 5 million enrollments the first day - (subsequently changed to 4.7 million). They just didn't release the real enrollment because its a disaster.
