Except that's solely about topping. Which has nothing to do with submission.

A sub gives over, in general, less control over his/her life than a slave.

However I know subs who accept the other's authority in areas of their lives that many slaves won't.

There is no definitive answer op.

I keep seeing people on CM listed as either Submissives or Slaves. I'm not sure if there's a difference, or if I should be concerned about whether I'm technically a slave or technically a submissive? I'm also not sure where to post this question, because anyone can answer it, regardless of Master/Domme/Submissive/Slave/Switch. Any help on figuring this out would be much appreciated.

I am not a fan of Google. But, I think you should use that or a similar engine and spend a few hours reading. Not being able to define your self personally, professionally or "sexually" sounds rather troubling to me.

That's very subjective, though. What is lighter and heavier? Is quitting your job lighter or heavier than knifeplay?

Submissive is an adjective. It is could be described as a personality trait. A submissive person. A slave is a title or noun.
That is the difference from a grammatical point of view.

FR

Sub seems to be easy lay.
Slave seems to mean blow jobs and sex on demand.

Reality is another story!!!

Sadly, many think the above is true.

Why? Can't a person just be... you know... "I like X and Y. What does that make me? Interesting. Creative. Clear... You know, Human."
