Decreases in defense budget are fine - so long as cuts occur in social spending as well

Why?

- which is where the vast amount of government spending is occurring anyway.
Any validation for this moronic bullshit?

If you bothered to actually read - I quoted the spending on entitlement programs which data orginated at the CBO.
I then divided by the total budget. Source also CBO.

You can go find the post yourself. 2.1 trillion dollars spent on entitlements. Or 55+% of the federal government.

So, are you going to just jump up and down and call me names or are you going to find some numbers to prove what I said is wrong.
Because, frankly, you can't.

Let me use simple words for you. Defense spending (big) Social spending (fucking impossibly big).

However, in 12 years you'll see headlines explaining why this system is going broke "but....we can fix it for 75 years".

Did we see those headlines 12 years after social security or medicare were instituted?

No...that happened about 35 - 50 years after those programs were instituted.

Any validation for this moronic bullshit?

Did you have a point Thompson, or were you, as per usual, simply looking to be demonstrative, and generally ineffectual?

Well here we are, nearly 80 years after ss was started and it is still working as planned so it would appear that the inneffectual are unaware of it's success

If you bothered to actually read -

I read the disingenuous bullshit that was posted.

I quoted the spending on entitlement programs which data orginated at the CBO.

You have listed federal pensions as one of the entitlements. That amounts to about 800 billions. How is it that you consider a pension as part of entitlement? Did not those people receiving pensions work for them?
When one post this sort of disingenuous shit it becomes less likely that anyone pays attention to what they say.

I then divided by the total budget. Source also CBO.

What was done is clear for all to see. A lie is posted and then some arithmatic is done with the lies and presto some fool thinks he has proved a pile of shit is gold.

You can go find the post yourself. 2.1 trillion dollars spent on entitlements.

The entitlements listed are:
Federal pensions=@800 billion...This would be part of the employees compensation so why is it included in entitlements?
Federal health care....not specified as to what secifically it is.=@800 billion...if this is the heqalth care for federal employees why is it included in entitlements?
federal welfare=@500 billion

Or 55+% of the federal government.

That would expenditures not entitlements.
Why is that so difficult to figure out?

So, are you going to just jump up and down and call me names

I simply point out the mindnumbingly stupid things posted by the ignorant...I do not know you so calling you names would be meaningless.

or are you going to find some numbers to prove what I said is wrong.
Because, frankly, you can't.
I have proved that the numbers posted are nothing but a mindnumbingly stupid attempt at obfuscation.

Let me use simple words for you.

Your post are nothing but simple minded.

Defense spending (big) Social spending (fucking impossibly big).

Perhaps if one actually knew the difference between compensating employees for services rendered and social spending such ignorant, foolish, peurile childishness will vanish from these boards.
