Because if they didn't do a thorough records search and take the same action, the whole 'safety of the children' excuse falls apart.

Posting her CC on FB might show that she was proud of getting it, much like posting pics of your (general) kids achieving or sports participation. Not the smartest thing to do, but, still, not illegal.

And, if he issue was with previous issues - which may or may not be true - I can see them not wanting her on the premises for the previous behavior issues.

Where do you get the idea that this has anything to do with someone wanting to carry a gun on school property?

Mount is not restricted from owning a gun. She passed the background checks that were required (local and Federal) to earn her permit. There is nothing that states that she tried to being a gun on school grounds. According to GA law, she can have a gun on school property, provided it is properly secured.

If Mount was in violation of any laws, then she should accept the proper consequences. If not, then she should not have any consequences to accept.
