FR: So (I can't believe I'm about to throw myself under the bus like this) I've had windows 8 for about 7-8 months now since I had to buy a new laptop for work. At first I really didn't like it (I mean, besides the glaring security holes). The UI felt clunky and annoying and I couldn't find anything. After about 3 days though I had everything figured out and now I can actually navigate it faster and far more efficiently than my old Win7 laptop that burned up on me. The biggest problem I've had is the touchpad gestures. Sometimes they liked to set themselves off and randomly scroll down the page or zoom way in or way out when I was typing something, but they were simple enough to turn off. Much like the new look of all things, so many people hate it at first. I gave windows 8 a solid chance before I bitched about anything and ended up not hating it. Can't say I like it, but I definitely don't hate it.
