This reminds me of so many profiles I've run across that, in the text, contain rants about not wanting to be contacted by <insert a parameter> and can't understand why idiots keep contacting them.

And when you look at the profile it shows they are actively seeking everything that could be checked.

Looks like a red flag for incompetence to me. <tongue firmly in cheek>

In dating Vanilla, i once had a stretch of dating 40 girls in one year, all 7.5's or above.

If you think that's an accomplishment, you're a bit douchey. It isn't hard to date lots of hot girls, especially if the relationship only lasts a week, so you don't need any recovery time before you start dating again. What's hard is capturing the attention of women with depth and soul.

I just don't see what a "collared and owned" button would really do. I was in a relationship for a year before I was collared. I'm sure there are others in similar relationships. These people would continue to appear on your search list.

People look for ways to make their search easier. In the past there has been a suggestion to have a box for findommes so they wouldn't show up in a search. Others want the search criteria to include a way to more easily find kinksters who live near them, especially in the UK and Canada.

There is just no way to please everyone and make everyone happy. Everyone has their own personal agenda and wants their own search to be as precise and easy as possible. Sadly, it can't be done for everyone. This leaves the old fashioned way of looking at each profile to see if it might be a match for you. I do understand that this takes time. When you find that very special person to add to your lives the search will seem well worthwhile.

Yes good point's, i'm going to have to get creative in finding this slave, i'm an extremely picky guy... this will take at least a year, most likely, i can feel it. CM wont be the only place we will be searching.

It will probably take far longer than that if you are only seeking online. Denver has an active community. You probably present better in person than you do online, particularly with a pretty empty profile. You aren't the only couple seeking to add to their household. Unicorns have their pick of the cream of the crop.

In dating Vanilla, i once had a stretch of dating 40 girls in one year, all 7.5's or above. You are correct i do present better in person.

I'm not a community guy either, due to my profession i cannot be known. It is what it is.

While not currently, I have been in the past what you were looking for. Between this statement and the next about aggression would have been turned off. To me it sounds really insecure and immature. How many women youve been with (or your laughable rating of their attractiveness) has little to do with what you'd bring to the table as a good top, or leader of a triad.

The fact that they decided to use you to get their jollies does not mean you are relationship material.
Frankly, from the way you talk, you're anything but.

If you want a permanent partner, then you have to be someone she would feel good about taking home and introducing to her mother. I suggest you work on becoming such a person.

Too true.

I wonder if it might work to replace or supplement the labels with an open field called "Self description" or somesuch.

Close to what I thought. Every time I see a guy listing how many women he's been with, all I think is "He's incapable of being in a relationship."

Or, I know it's a crazy idea, but they could provide a way for people to write all about themsleves and there situation, sort of like a profile or something.

Some of those profiles are as verbose as a single button...

7.5.....on whose scale? One man's 7.5 is another man's 1.8, just sayin'

Thoughts?

Changes have been suggested for this site and its settings for 20 years, and the site hasn't changed whatsoever. Every day dozens of threads like this are posted, and year after year goes by without a SINGLE change. My suggestion is to stop wasting your time. They keep the ads working, they make sure the site is basically operational, and that's it. Deal with it.

Let's not exaggerate. The year 2004 was NOT 20 years ago.

LOL! It did occur to me that profiles offer folks all the space in the world to identify themselves exactly as they'd like.

But I still think a short-answer option, particularly if it showed up on the abbreviated view of the profile, might help.

While we're changing the universe, I'd like to suggest a few other buttons...

Virtually owned (it's real... In my head anyway)
Virtually under protection (cuz harsh language skeers tha hell outa people)
Nuke button (should be next to the report button, but when it's pressed the mods are ejected from their proper lives and immediately resume their lives of mod slavery... Er, I mean, volunteer service)
OYKB button ( the on your knees bitch button allows your email to bypass filters, naturally causing the /s to fall madly in love with you)
FYA (the Fuck you asshole button is a premium service button, that auto replies to the OYKB button)

Exiled

Why not have an "owned" button for slaves, subs and or switches? It seems that about 25-30% of slaves/subs are "already collared and owned", i understand they want to have community on here, but i think it would save the population of CM quite a bit of wasted time, in looking over countless "owned" sub/slaves, whom most of us who are looking don't desire to show up in our search results.

Thoughts?

I admit I didn't read the whole thread, but why not a "taken" button? After all, both of you are "taken." I'm sure the d-type wouldn't like the term "owned" even though you kind of are.

Realistically though, if you are too lazy to really search, and feel you are wasting your time, you aren't going to find what you are looking for. After all, potential subs are known to look at forum posts, and this post certainly doesn't make you look good.

Button? I don't need no shtinking button! That's why it's about the entirety of my whole profile. Not too hard to miss and quite to the point. In most cases, okay so about 99.9% of the time, I can o so easily tell if someone has even bothered to read it before sending me a c mail.

Lol, obviously you don't know what the hell you are talking about. Look at most "slaves" profiles, and you will see they do not post on the forums very often, i estimate out of the 100 slave profiles i have looked at in the past 7 days, only 5 have active posts in the forums.
Get your head out of your ass before you sling mud.
Seriously.

And my current sub is From CM, i have met face to face about 8 people so far in 2 years. I know what i'm doing. Believe me.

The nature of the post was geared around efficiency of search for everyone, not just myself.

A "taken" button would suffice as well to respond to poster above. Really anything to streamline the searching process for all.
