if some guy just msgs me and says.."Hey cu*t.. how are you?".. it won't do much (maybe get them the block button)/quote]

Maybe that is how You spell it.. but I am sure the ones that wrote me spelled it C-U-*-T.. next time I get one though.. I will be sure and give the correct spelling back..before I hit the block button... I would hate to see any poor Dom go thru life without the ability to spell such a word.

DominaBBW -> RE: Humiliation and the Insecure Dominant? (7/4/2006 10:08:08 PM)

Perhaps I'm not understanding the OP's post, but it seems as if your problem may be with VERBAL humiliation rather than humiliation in general, so you may be throwing the proverbial baby out with the bath water.  I came to this conclusion after viewing your profile because many of the activities that you've shown interest in are commonly used as humiliation/objectification play.  (Unless perhaps you don't find being put in diapers, gagged, and pulled by your hair into a cage to be humiliating.  By the way, it may be difficult to find a "Nice" Domme to pull this off convincingly.)

Some subs would find being cross dressed or participating in pony/puppy play much more humiliating than being called scum, yet obviously the reverse seems to be true for you.  It's all relative. As a matter of fact, I'd venture a guess and say that there's some mush-minded numbnut out there who would argue that any submissive with your interests must be insecure.  I wonder what you would say to that argument.

Lordandmaster -> RE: Humiliation and the Insecure Dominant? (7/4/2006 10:11:15 PM)

I agree.  A good policy should be: NEVER take a dom seriously if he can't even spell "cunt."

But isn't writing someone with something like,"On your knees cunt!" a self-humliation kink?[;)]

To most (not all) I think that would fall more under the.. "I am an ass..can I come to your block party?"kink.

   IMHO.... Respectfully, andrea [;)]

SusanofO -> RE: Humiliation and the Insecure Dominant? (7/4/2006 11:55:23 PM)

That is a good way to handle it I guess, telling a story first.

It is just another type of kink to me - it has no bearing (for me) on whether the person is actually nice or not if they're "into" it, too. I am sure there are a__holes who are not into it at all, and those that are...

The parable is a way for me to get into the mind, by reading reactions. I further this by beginning a scenario, and then having the bottom finish it.[;)]

SusanofO -> RE: Humiliation and the Insecure Dominant? (7/5/2006 12:01:36 AM)

That way it is a collaboration rather than just one person's fantasy, too? If they end up doing it? I is a good gauge of what someone might like or have a strong bad reaction to doing.

I know some people out there swoon over words like: Cunt, bitch, etc. That does absolutley nothing for me, actually. The only word that ever really gets to me along those lines I guess, is "whore" (depending on the situation) .

Caretakr -> RE: Humiliation and the Insecure Dominant? (7/5/2006 12:04:21 AM)

I prefer physical humiliations to verbal ones. I want them to be felt by the entire being, they have greater impact when as many different inputs as possible are involved.

I'm not going to freak people out by describing them here, drop me a line if you want to know more.[;)]

SusanofO -> RE: Humiliation and the Insecure Dominant? (7/5/2006 12:09:45 AM)

Yes, it doesn't pay to get too graphic here, I suppose (some people might not mind, but the Moderators might). I have about 20 pages of stories and scenarios saved up from my, my - well, I call it my "dry" period. I do share, too, so I may do that. Thank you.

That is why I like pony play so much, maybe. It's pretty physical. I like to feel controlled, not always brutally controlled - although occasionally brutal is just fine, I guess (it hasn't happened yet. Not much has really happened yet, come to think of it).

You know what pollyannas some of this crowd can be, I just keep the more intense things private.[;)]

SusanofO -> RE: Humiliation and the Insecure Dominant? (7/5/2006 12:14:04 AM)

Well I do, too - it's a privacy thing with me, mostly. I'm not that shy.
I rarely understand it when someone asks Qs about how to "come out" to non-bdsm oriented relatives, etc. - because I guess I just don't think it's their business, period (but to each his/her own).

Freedom is never having to defend yourself to a twit-what they don't know won't annoy me.[:)]

hispossession -> RE: Humiliation and the Insecure Dominant? (7/5/2006 12:17:30 AM)

this seems like a good place to bring up a question I have...

I recieved a message here from an individual who will remain nameless... he wrote "cum to me slut"... I have to admit that I was shocked... I shouldn't have been but I thought that my brief bit in my profile about being an owned slave as well as not posting anything under the looking for section might give individuals pause before things sending things like that.  Perhaps I am overly naive... perhaps he is one in one hundred... other messages I have gotten have been to ask me how the collaring is going and to let me know that if there are questions I have to feel comfortable contacting that person... I found these very sweet and I appreciated the gesture.

are there alot of the types who don't care what your profile says or doesn't say... they're going to use language that they don't know if you appreciate and phrasing that you might well find offensive?  Or am I simply far too 'green' to this type of forum and need to develop a moderately thicker layer of skin?

He's an hng,just ignore him.

hispossession -> RE: Humiliation and the Insecure Dominant? (7/5/2006 12:20:23 AM)

*blushes* have I mentioned the newbie part?  What, may I ask, is hng?

Caretakr -> RE: Humiliation and the Insecure Dominant? (7/5/2006 12:21:32 AM)

Anyhow,it's up to you susan.

The idiots in my neighborhood have just about run out of things that go bang and boom, and I'm going to be able to sleep in half an hour.

SusanofO -> RE: Humiliation and the Insecure Dominant? (7/5/2006 12:22:22 AM)

No, he is not one in a hundred, unfortunately.
I've gotten those (not recently) but I have. They just make me giggle.

Sometimes, just to see what would happen, I am tempted to write back with a one-line answer:

"Okay." (I can like living dangerously that way).

I want to know what great verbose follow-up there must be to: '"cum to  me slut."

I don't mean to sound like a snob about the folks who write such things, but haven't most of we submissive females been there? - it's just silly.

They are not worth you getting angry (although  I've gotten ticked off at it before, when they keep writing back the same kind of _rap because you were nice enough to write and say: "Thanks but busy", or something). Don't answer is my advice.

Horny net geek-ala "I'm typin one handed cuz the other one is fapping on my dong"

Pretty much a waste of time, these places are full of fantasy wankers.

SusanofO -> RE: Humiliation and the Insecure Dominant? (7/5/2006 12:24:37 AM)

Okay. You are a doll (or maybe that is not a good word for a macho Dom person). Okay then: Good guy.
