Putin has classic right wing sensibilities: Nationalism, Blaming others for problems (Western NGOs, dissidents, / while in the USA the problem is Muslims, liberals, gays, and Welfare deadbeats etc.), a propaganda arm (State TV / Fox News), and hostility to other nations (in the US its hostility towards the UN and other adversaries.)

They are all different and will give different answers. You would have to go out and find every right winger who actually has a man crush on him and ask. But first you would have to grasp the idea that not everyone in a party believes exactly what the other guy does and quit painting the other side with that paint brush you carry around. Otherwise there is no point in even trying to discuss the subject.
