And anyway... we know all our friends north of the border secretly want to be Americans...you can tell because that's all they can talk about...or at least all they care to talk about.

Butch

They can't talk about their own politics here. Almost noone south of the border KNOWS Canadian politics (aside from maybe the Mayor of Toronto)!

or cares

And they're proud of the lack!!

I just figure it's none of my business, they can run their country any way they want to.

Maybe we should just annex all of North America.

Hey Rich, at least if you wish to invade us we really have got WMD`s, thats if you want the same excuse If Bush 3 gets elected.

Why the fuck would we want England??? In terms of area, Canada is the largest country on the planet, with about the same number of people as California. It's a high growth potential expansion. England is a miserable, overpopulated, used up island in the North Atlantic. That's before we even get into the costs of supporting your freeloaders, and locking up the hooligans you don't even bother to count in the crime statistics.

Nope. Just Canada. What is England going to do about it? You barely managed to get the Falklands back from Argentina.

You forgot inbred. Don't forget inbred. Have you seen pictures of those people lately? I thank whatever gods there may be that my ancestors had the good sense to get off that benighted isle while the getting was good.
Personally, I think if we are going to liberate another country then we should liberate Brazil. I'd love to have me some beach front property in Rio.

Well the Mexican government appears to have ceded any practical sovereignty over most of its territory already, so I'd start there. And, too, it would solve our whole immigration problem. Given the mess south of our border, I think it fair to say that a lot of our illegals aren't so much illegal aliens as illegal refugees anyway, and once we clean the place up it wouldn't make any sense "deporting" them to what would just be another part of the United States.

I can think of a few Brits on here who might quibble about the language claim.

I do so enjoy a well-informed argument. You'll let me know when you're ready for one, won't you dear?

Most "Americans" don't speak English, they speak and spell American.
They don't even have the same phonetic alphabet as the rest of the world.

As for the laws, they discarded most of the laws they fled from and invented their own.
I'm not just speaking of the English pilgrims but also the French and Spanish.

So yeah, it's vaguely English(ish) and the constitution was borrowed from us originally.
But since then, they've screwed up the language, the spelling, the constitution, the imperial measurement system, etc etc etc.....
You name it, they changed it.
That's why the "American Dream" is no more than a nightmare these days.
The land of gold, honey, and opportunity of 2 centuries ago is now a land of fires, tornado's, drought, governmental bickering, and a mentality still stuck in the wild west era. Not to mention those dying of disease and bad health due to greedy profiteers and 'the American system' that bolsters it.

I'd better get off my ......

I propose a truce...lets join forces and invade Sweden instead.

Butch

Now that's a proposal I can get behind.

Dirty pickled fish eating, stylish furniture making, rollneck sweater wearing fuckers.

Have you seen or even met some of those wonderful blonde Swedish girls who are sexually open?
Maaann.... thems girls are great. And no inhibitions!

I can put up with the pickled fish.... even the stylish furniture.
The sweaters don't stay on when you're in the sauna with them!

I guess I've just made a good excuse to go get those Swedish fuckers!
Count me in!

Now you mention it....

Yes, I have. My accusations against the swedes were merely a cover for my tail chasing motivation.

Swedish women are, in my experience, the most sexually assertive women on the planet. Awesome.

I'm Swedish. In general, we are not so much sexually assertive as we are very comfortable expressing our sexuality.
