It would certainly be better to call it an annexation, instead of invasion, but for those who remember the movie, Reign of Fire, the appropriate attitude is, "we can do this easy, or we can do this real easy."
On their own, they are a petty little nothing of a country with a lot of land, but as part of the United States, they might actually matter in the world.

Get your terminology correct. We will never invade Canada . . . we will liberate them.
I'm shocked to think that you would ever think that the United States of America would invade a county for natural resources, mere monetary gain. One the other hand, our moral nature might compel us to rescue our northern neighbors from
the atheist, socialists who are subjugating that poor country.
