Hold on a second. Aren't you sort of casting findomme automatically into the business category with that assessment. There are at least a few I respect and that automatically means that in my assessment they'd tell the truth about their number of "takers". That being said, I'd also suspect that for the very same reason these women don't have a hard time attracting a suitable partner/finsub/whatever when they want one.

Very interesting...good work. I'd noticed he had only just signed up that very day but may have been using more than one CM profile so didn't think to question how did he get himself into a findom arrangement and been exchanging phone calls so soon.

He appeared to fit the classic case of a married man on this site seeking on-line domination. Probably porn-addicted and porn-fueled. For him to rely on (fake) pics and not expect cam sessions in exchange for doling out his cash did indeed sound odd.

It sounds cliché, but my best guys tell me they do it because they are very successful and expected to always be in control at work and at home. They like giving that control over to another.

I would be honest about it. January is slow as far as new subs ( I still have my faithful ones).
But feb and march are awesome for me. We shall see what April holds.
Now mind you that about 8 out 10 of them are full of shit.

Financial domination is one of the few ways a slave can really serve a mistress online. It is no less valid than getting hit with a whip, which nobody questions. Trying to explain a fetish to someone who is not into it is a waste of time, so why would you even bother to ask? Nobody really knows why some things are found to be erotic to some people.

I seriously doubt that. A dominant would have to do much more than collect money in a face to face meeting to qualify as prostitution. Putting money into a collection basket at church would be prostitution. A slave worships his goddess and pays homage to her.

@OP I am answering this as one psych major to another.

I have engaged in financial domination/fetish blackmail. It has been several things to my servitors.

It can be humiliation, though not one that (usually) requires clinical intervention. This would fall under the sexual masochism section of the DSM V IF it were a disordered behavior in an individual.

It can be a simple act of being rewarded with some kind of attention in exchange for money—how many hot 20-something girls want to interact with an old perv who is their dad's age (or older) and has weird stuff crammed up his ass in all of his pictures? Paying for attention may be the only way to speak and interact with these ladies.

It can be, essentially, professional domination with more of a focus on the money given rather than a BDSM session and the fantasy factor that comes along with it.

It can be that some of these guys have bad spending habits and a Domme's control helps to keep them in line financially.

It can be that giving his Mistress money makes him happy because he knows he is providing her with the service of giving luxury and convenience that he feels a Domme rightfully deserves. It makes sense since service is very much about pleasing the Dominant and deriving pleasure from seeing the Dominant happy. When the interaction is strictly online, this is especially true since a slave often cannot come by to serve in person. The limiting factors of online interactions make the types of service a slave can provide very limited.
