Here's a Ukrainian's position on current events there: Thank you for asking, KK. Everything is good here now (we live in the eastern part of Ukraine) and actually it was more or less quiet all these days in our city. Most dramatic events and actions took the place in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine a few days ago, where about 80 people has died from the government forces and snipers in the strikes, but now looks like everything is over, at least now our criminal president Yanukovich is fled to unknown direction, his residence is open for everyone, and now we have to elect a new president in next 2-3 months. Most of people are happy now, because that president was a really stupid dumbass, with two criminal records and prison sentences in his past. He also had a very corrupted government, included the police, justice, etc. and lived like a king, while the status of Ukraine were decreased almost to to default levels. Here's a couple links with lot of interesting photos and English comments from a Russian blogger who was right there in those days: 1)Almost a month ago: http://zyalt.livejournal.com/986689.html 2) Last Thursday http://zyalt.livejournal.com/1006094.html 3) Last Friday http://zyalt.livejournal.com/1007923.html
