People do have a desire to feel safe in their neighborhoods from suspicious people, vehicles and behaviors. Those people that reside there pay taxes. The taxes pay to hire and maintain a police force. The police force keeps an eye out for suspicious looking individuals, vehicles and behaviors. Those are checked and if things seem to be ok and in order, the officer lets them go.

For Example....

If you or others feel the police officer took action due to your race, most states if not all have some mechanism set up to report such actions to be investigated. Any police station worth its weight in gold does NOT wish to lose the respect of the community.

I've had this happen to me before too but not at Macy's. It's so humiliating and embarrassing. If people don't believe in the oppression of blacks by USA system, I hope they get searched just because of their race. Then they would understand how humiliating it is.

As someone in the travel industry, I will say that is incorrect. In fact, one of the most searched groups are middle aged caucasian women, traveling alone, ..especially if they have dark hair or dark complexions.

Marcus Allen, NFL hall of fame running back was stopped regularly by LA police for driving his Ferrari. Blacks are stopped regularly on I-95 suspected of being drug runners. Apparently...the list goes on.
