I also hear wolves make great coats

Jewish wolves are especially renowned for their tailoring skills, I hear.

The rabbit in "Monty Python & The Holy Grail"

"Prepare the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch!"

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

Dogs roughed up a baby rabbit once. My daughter was upset. I kept it for two weeks, fed it, watered it, kept it in a box. When she recovered and was fast, I let her go. She was still wild and was so happy to be rid of us.

Using half the flour (3/4 cup) coat the pieces of rabbit, shaking off any excess. Heat the oil and butter in a large heavy-bottomed saucepan, and brown the floured rabbit on all sides. Add the celery, carrots, onions, salt, pepper, bay leaves, 6 cups water and red wine, and stew for about 2 hours. Add the potatoes 45 minutes into the stewing process. Once the rabbit and all the vegetables are cooked, use some water to form a paste with the remaining 3/4 cup flour. Stir the flour mixture into the pot as a thickener. Add the already sauteed mushrooms to the stew and allow to simmer for about 10 minutes. Adjust seasonings, if necessary, and serve.

With us it's the cats, the dogs aren't bothered, the girl wants to mother rabbits (I'm wondering if dogs can have a rabbit fetish?) but the 2 rabbits that were brought in by the cats were domestic miniature breeds. I found out that we seem to have a high percentage of people in the area who breed exotic rabbits and show them in "rabbit shows", which kinda relaxes me a bit, I suspected that my cats were some odd kind of bunny hunters.

........................I had a buddy with a very large burmese once...he'd "adopt" kitten and puppies from infront of the grocery stores when ever he could for that reason....

I really could have done without knowing that. Now every time I see people donating kittens or puppies in front of the grocery store, I'll have to warn them!

Yeah....me too....I really didn't need to know that.

Although....I think the fact that Kia adopted the bunny as her pup is absolutely adorable. I hope you got a picture!
