Why is sex offensive? Unfortunately, it has a character similar to what Padre Pio observed. It is radioactive. It is something that needs to be put in a containment vessel.

I wonder. Is sex hazardous to animals or just to humans?

Morality is a construct which has been taken completely out of control.

Morals are anything that is universally accepted. Things such as
Don't steal, don't lie, don't cheat, don't seek to do harm to others. VERY simple. Unfortunately religions particularly Christianity have taken a simple concept and perverted it to encompass engaging in homosexual acts, being openly sexual (slut), and anything that falls outside of what they want people to accept or do.

I think it's a ridiculous notion.

What you are saying is if society were to drop the pretense everyone will just be sweet and loving, a regular paradise. What evidence do you have to support this? Are you offering opinion or argument?

There was a brief mention earlier. Someone felt that had some limited evidence for this, the blissful life of indigenous people.

The blissful life of the Mayan people for example?

I am skeptical of these claims for one reason because they seem awfully self serving. Too much in the realm of human understanding.

It is the amoral people who are the problem because they force society to take an aggressive stance that may otherwise be unnecessary. We have fine individuals such as Marc2b who assume that I have no capacity to influence future public policy. If people who smoke marijuana for example were upright, why would anyone object? Christianity objects because Christianity is delusional?

Are the denials creating little denial machines that are in turn creating reality?

The polarization is demonic, but if I had to chose between liberals and conservatives who do I like better? I would have to go with the conservatives. I like them better. The liberals are disgusting.

I am for example in favor of universal healthcare. There is an asymmetry between the two camps. Liberalism is more dangerous to the soul. I am inclined to vote against universal healthcare not because I am opposed to it, but because I am opposed to the liberals.

On the left we have humanism. Doesn't God embrace humanism? In part, but not the sort of humanism that humanists practice. Humanism does not encourage man to be better, but instead less through bribery and says that man can supplant God, that man is God.

As strange as it may seem if it makes too much sense, it isn't of God. What the atheists argue in an attempt to win converts is to try to reason with say Christians and explain to them that what they believe doesn't make complete sense. The truth and the Truth are not separate, they overlap, but not completely. Why should anyone believe this?

quote:

John 18:36 http://biblehub.com/nasb/john/18.htm

Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm."

In the film IQ Catherine accuses Ed of being a liar. They tumble in the grass. She kisses Ed, then bites his lip and slaps him while Ike looks on dumbfounded much like Pontius Pilate. Why? Because Catherine saw the truth as the world sees it. Einstein on the other hand saw the world as God sees it. She had yet to embrace the Truth.

When Catherine realized the Truth she found True love as her Father in Heaven looked down upon her.

Why is it important that Catherine accomplish something that Einstein could not? It concerns Genesis 3:15.

Why this film is capable of being used as an illustration of what I am discussing is unknown to me.

What is my take on Genesis 3:15? I go along with the Church's interpretation that it is a Prophecy concerning Mary and is consistent with what Jesus said. The head is the Truth with a capital T and the foot is the truth with a lower case t. Satan attacks as the atheists do by pointing out that the Word of God is not fully consistent with the truth of this world.

If you follow the law of man to the t, you will persecute both the unholy and the Holy.

If the law abandons the law of God, the law will persecute the Holy.

Hence, the law at a minimum cannot be unbiased and regard atheism as legitimate.
