ORIGINAL: Lucylastic Gallup results Old news. 1. The government could have expanded Medicare/Medicaid anytime it wanted to. 2. The government forced people to buy obamacare. They still don't like it. 3. The percentage of people having their healthcare paid for by the government increased 10% under obama's administration. Many here believe that this was nothing but a move to drive the US to single payer. If so it was done dishonestly. 1. but they didnt 2. NO. NOT true. not forcing at all. You dont HAVE to buy an obamacare policy. 3. ACA was in part to be able to enable healthcare insurance for uninsured... they are getting there. we know you can throw up all the crap you want in your posts, you can change goal posts... healthcare has been fucked for 3 or more decades. The poor at least now have a chance to get help before they need to use the ER.. deny its broken as it was, ACA its not a wonderful idea, single payer is better. 1. Whos's fault is that and whats your point? 2. You are saying you don't have to buy insurance? Why then the fine if you don't have to buy insurance? 3. Who has changed the law ( "goalposts") more than Obama? And in Massachusetts, where roughly the same health insurance plan has been in operation for almost 7 years, Johnathon Gruber, an economist from MIT who consulted on both Romneycare and Obamacare said, despite having insurance, people are still using the emergency rooms for their PCP. ( Insurance or not, the irresponsible will continue to be irresponsible. My words) Libs have to quit enabling and get aboard plans to actually help the disadvantaged even if it involves toughlove.
