Cuddleheart, I just started reading this thread tonight and was glad to see your updated post saying you have talked about your thoughts of feeling insecure with your dom. Isn't the mind an amazing beast, it can bring so much turmoil into our lives. I used to experience crippling thoughts of insecurity and possibly will again. I practise mindfulness meditation regularly which has helped me so much as it helps me recognise thoughts and the judgements I am placing on them. I heard the following sentence during a training course and it really helps me when I feel that I am getting caught up in all the busyness and negativity in my brain - "I am not my thoughts".

I think insecurity is something we all feel now and then, do not let it bother you too much but also do not let it get out of control. I live with my owners, i am with one or both 24/7 and i know they love me dearly yet sometimes even i experience feelings of insecurity. I do not think this is any different than a vanilla relationship, i think it is simply part of being human.
